Touring questions

Would like to do some extra while visiting DLR. If I understand correctly, their bus service from airport to DLR hotels is a paid service. I do not have to have reservations - just get off plane, get baggage, pay for round trip bus to and from airport?

If I would like to go to Knotts, take the tour that goes to Santa Monica beach and shopping, or anything else, do I have to book this as a package through DLR or can I do it maybe the day before from the hotel?

Does the bus/shuttle pick you up at your hotel for the tour or Knotts then bring you back at a designated time that evening?

For tours, there will be a tour desk at your hotel.........for those staying in smaller hotels/motels...you can find the tour desk at any larger hotel nearby and sign up for tours there.
