IF you go to the DVC members site, the place to click is on the right hand side as you face the screen. The renewal click isn't working, I get "System error."

I believe that you can also purchase them at disneyworld.com---I found a link earlier today that took me to a DVC purchase page on disneyworld.com. I'm also frantically trying to decide what tickets we need to purchase (AP for hubby and I and hoppers for mom) before Sunday.

Thanks Tramps Lady--I just ran all my numbers for our trips...and I am doing an AP and still torn between the DQ AP or paying DQ daily taking advantage of the DVC discount. At least I have a plan....

I hate these price increases. But at least we have a day's notice.

So, it doesn't look like there's any way to purchase a new AP and get the DVC discount on line or through a regular Disney #. I can't get any link to work on the DVC site and the FAQs say I have to call Member Services.

And this announcement just happened to come out on a Friday. So much for looking at past history and only expecting one rate increase a year. Guess they gave away too much with "free" dining and the food plan and need to recoup some money another way.

EDITED: I REALLY get frustrated with the DVC and Disneyworld sites (and just took the time to fill out an online survey to tell them why). I finally found some links in the DVC site that were to connect me to online ordering with the DVC discount, but I kept getting a regular online ordering site with no discount. I clicked the 2 hyperlinks multiple times and still no evidence of DVC discount. Totally frustrated, I backed out of that site and looked somewhere else and returned to the DVC site and all of a sudden the hyperlink connected me to purchasing the APs with the DVC discount. What a relief!!!!! Got an email back that my AP vouchers will be coming! Thanks for giving me the info to even TRY to order them online. Good luck with your decisions. For us, it's a no brainer ---- 9 days in November and at least 6 in March. Since we're at the Dolphin the first night, we can just meander over to Epcot to sample some of the Food & Wine treats, which we wouldn't have done without an AP.

I just ordered online.

The hyperlink on the first page doesn't work, but if you go through the site to the member discount area, and find the section on AP FAQS and SAVINGS, there will be a good hyperlink there. It was ery, very easy. Good luck.

Edited to Add:
OOPS: Sorry, I see now that you were successful. Enjoy your tickets, I know I will enjoy mine!

Our next trip is in April '07. Would it make sense to purchase now and receive the voucher to redeem in April? Is there a certain amount of time I have to redeem the voucher? Thanks

From what I have read here, once you have a voucher, there is not time limit as to when you need to redeem it!

I ordered, regular AP to be picked up when we arrive in September. Then as an after thought, I ordered PAP's to be sent home. Hey, $42.00 in my pocket is better than theirs!

Thank you so much! I was just having a last look at the boards before we leave tomorrow and saw this thread. We were going to buy our APs on Monday when we first visit a park but I just ordered them on line with the "Will Call" option. I now have my certificate all paid for before the price increase. Thanks again.
