I am using a 2 bedroom at Saratoga in January. I am using points for midweek & cash on weekend night. I want to put 2 adults & 2 kids and a baby in one of the bedrooms. Then I want 2 adults & 3 kids in the other bedroom including using the pull out couch. For a total of 10 including 1 baby.

I know you can put 2 adults & 2 kids plus infant in a studio and I have heard that you can put 2 adults plus 3 kids in a one bedroom. for a total of 10.
A studio & a one bedroom are pretty much the sam as a 2 bedroom.

I have called meber services and had it booked this way as a 2 bedroom because it is less points for a 2 bedroom than a studio & a one bedroom. Then I called back to add dinning and member service person said there were too many people in the room. Has this happened to any one? or what is the pollicy of occupancy?
Thanks

Welcome to the DIS boards joepest6

The official policy is:

4 in a studio
4 in a 1 bedroom
8 in a 2 bedroom
12 in a grand Villa

The policy is already stretched to allow the "plus child under 3 in crib/Pack-N-Play" that MS has been allowing. I don't see them allowing 10 in a 2 bedroom, especially in your case, since you say only 1 is a "baby." While in actuality, a 2bedroom lock-off IS a studio pus 1 bedroom, since you reserved it as a two bedroom, it falls under two bedroom guidelines.

As occupancy is a hot topic here on the DVC boards, the discussion of it, by policy, is limited to this thread:
