I have done this at work before and there was always a $ limit on what to spend, just to keep things fair. I know some people can not afford a lot, while others are more well off.

If we are going to have a limit, what is it? I was thinking of getting one here before I leave to reflect my area of the country.

I think $8.00 is a fair amount. :) It's right between $5 and $10. :)

What does everyone else think?

I like the $8 limit. This gives people the flexibility to find a nice ornament in a reasonable price range. I love the idea that some people are bringing ornaments from their part of the country. It should make for an interesting time! (However, I am afraid I NEED the excuse to go shopping in Disney, so my ornament will be a Disney ornament!):bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

$8 sounds great to me, and thanks for the reminder, Patrick! I want to bring something that is native to Colorado, so guess I'd better get moving!

Is it too late to get in on this??

If not, I'd like to join in!!

And my guest will want to also, when they find out!!

So, somebody let me know if it's too late, or else we will be bringing 2 ornaments to exchange!!

I saw ornaments of music stars at Best Buy for $2. They weren't bad, but they had a trailer feel too them. :)

Secret Dis'er, you don't have to actually sign up until the character breakfast. So your all set. :D
Barry, at that price, you can get one for each of us!!! :D :D :D

The great thing about this ornament exchange is that there is no pre-registration. You can decide the day of the character breakfast. Anyone who is interested will sign up then and get their 'name' for the exchange.

Some people are planning on bringing ornaments that represent their area, others will be buying Disney ornaments. It is up to each person. For me, it will be nice to go home with an ornament from dis-con!
