Did you use it after the tour? Was it specific to certain restaurants? Dollar amount?
Did your kids come with you? Was there something for them to do?
Thanks!

When we toured SSR we got free ice cream @ their parlor. :woohoo: We also got fastpasses for 1 day use. Those were besides the financial perks (incentives).
They let the kids go to the arcade @SSR

Fastpasses? You mean you got park hopper passes w/fast pass? What kind of financial perks/incentives?
Thanks!

No, we got a special Fastpass that was good for 24hrs. Unlike the regular fastpass which has you come back later, these got us on right away. So we could go right to the front of the line :cool1: We used them on our last day to get on the really crowded rides and used our ph to fastpass the others.
They were also giving $8/point incentive and 2006 points. That incentive might be over now, I don't know.....The financial incentives are only if you buy...

Thanks! Didn't even know those existed! Did you get to choose your perk or was that just what they were doing?

You should call DVC (I don't have the number) and ask them. They would be very willing to answer your questions. DVC is a great venture.

I agree on both counts!
That's just what they were offering when we were there, could be different now.

We got $100 in Disney Dollars when we toured in Sept. 2003. And we didn't even buy back then! :thumbsup2 We only just bought in January this year.

We got Nada for both purchases. Our original we got nada, and when we went down the following spring we met with our guide and did an add on and got nada for that.

In fact, the second time we had an appointment with our guide and he was busy and we had to come back about 2 hours later and he did not even give us a fast pass. I can't believe I let him get away with that! But on the other hand, whenever I see a "can you recommend a guide" thread, I never recommend him, so there you go.....

We toured in May and received a $50 Disney gift card.

Our 2 sons, 3 and 1 attended with us. There is a supervised playroom with videogames, videos, and coloring books for the children. However my 1yo was not eligible because he was not walking at the time and the 3yo was not interested in being left separate from the rest of the family. If anything, the children being present kept the sales part of the interaction subdued and on point.

My main agenda was to tour the SSR rooms. Fortunately I didn't require remedial instruction regarding how DVC works having spent quite some time lurking on these boards and gaining a lot of useful information.
