We are scheduled for Pop this Sep. I am considering upgrading to a moderate and dreaming of a deluxe! Which mod and which deluxe has the most efficient transportation?

Do you have free DDP because you may not be able to keep it if you switch? I haven't yet stayed at CSR (going in September) but from what I gleaned from these boards it has the best Mod transportation because it doesn't share buses and has less stops than CBR. As far as deluxes, the monorail resorts have the best transportation IMHO. Poly is the best, I believe because its just 2 stops to the MK, but also a quick walk to the TTC to catch a monorail direct to Epcot.

Yes I do have free dining. I was hoping you could upgrade and keep it. Does anyone know for sure?

We have upgraded and then back to downgraded because people have said they are coming and then backed out.

We are on free dining and I just used a TA from New Jersey who only specializes in WDW. She did all the work for me and has made our changes and kept our free dining the entire time.

It can be done. WDW resorts have a certain number of rooms set aside for free dining. They recently opened it up to Fl. residents on a discounted offer. It is also just around the corner for cancellations for Sept.

Keep calling until you get the room you want.

As for Deluxe, we were going to stay at the CR because we could walk to MK and monorail to epcot and TTC. I also liked the poly.

As for Mod's we are staying at POFQ because we have a toddler and want a small central resort with first bus stops.

Good luck :Pinkbounc

Some Disers have reported yes, and others have reported no. I haven't tried, so I don't really know. You may want to check out this thread where many reported yes, and indicated how.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful about CSR's transportation. I know the stats on each, but have no personal experience since I rent a car and use it when we aren't staying at a monorail resort because I want my DS strapped in his carseat.

Tacomaranch: I also use a Disney specialist TA in New Jersey. Do you use Lisa at Magical Vacations? I haven't had to change dates (but had to change ADR's for our upcoming September trip and had to add another person for our recent June trip) and she was excellent! I'm curious to know if you have the same TA. If so, her ability to keep your free DDP will just further affirm how great she is.
