Can anyone tell me about this? Good? Bad?

I used to work as a bartender on Toronto harbour cruises lines... which company in particular are you asking about?

FYI - Toronto at sunset is beautiful from the water.

The website is torontosunset.com

I honestly do not know this company - it must be new in the past few years. I couldn't even find the name of any of their boats on the website, called the contact number, got an automated machine. It's docks where Yankee Lady, River Gambler and Miss Toronto dock according to their map...

If you try it, let us know.

I'm planning to go on one of these cruises on August 26. It's a 3 hour cruise (2-5pm) and I'm going with a group of friends. I'll let you know what I think (hopefully, you're not planning to go before August 26).

Hi there!
Just reporting back re the cruise. The boat was called Empress of Canada and it was really enjoyable! There was a buffet lunch served (rolls, salad, a choice of vegetarian pasta or chicken pasta and a beef skewer. The beef skewer was delicious with big chunks of tender beef.). You were allowed 2 free drinks (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic). The first 2 levels of the boat consisted of dining tables (you were assigned a table) and the top level was outside where people danced or just stood around talking. Music was provided by a DJ and he seemed pretty good at getting people up and dancing.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks for your review.

Do you mind if I ask - how much did you pay? (ballpark figure)

Would you do it again?

Hi rubbertops,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you; I've been away on vacation for a few days.

I only paid $48 because my friend was able to order tickets at a discounted price through her work. I think the usual price is $90. I think $90 is kind of steep and I probably wouldn't go for that price. But for $48, I would definitely do it again. It would be especially good if you were going with a group of friends.
