Book now or wait???

We are heading down on (hopefully) February 1st, flying out of Buffalo. Thanks to all the helpful people here, we are waiting for SW flights.

My question is about booking a hotel. We plan to stay at Pop Century for about 6 days (probably with dining plan). I know that there may be a CAA rate (but we would have to buy CAA, we have another auto plan right now) and that even better rates come available through Mousesavers and that I can keep my fingers crossed for a code in the email.
That all said, should we book our rooms now at rack rate? Does it guarantee us a room or would we lose it and rebook if we needed to change to a different rate anyway?
I'd like to know I have a room booked, so that SOMETHING is fixed anyway.... Even if I have to walk. ;)

You can book now and then add the code(s) as they come available. As long as there is something available, you shouldn't have much trouble. I booked my hotel (POP) first, and then had to add a day when the flights didn't match up. DARN! :teeth: I couldn't get POP for the extra day right away, and had to keep calling. DARN! (had to listen to the Disney music on hold). :love: I eventually did get the day at front at POP. If I hadn't been able to, I would have had DREAMS UNLIMITED (or maybe Madonna 31) book me for the eight days, ;) and then cancelled the original booking. Oh, and BTW. Once you book....you often change! lol Have fun!

OOPS! Forgot to add. I had originally booked with CAA, and then added the dining later. I have to cancel and rebook, but it wasn't a problem. HTH
