After slapping myself silly yesterday (see a lower post), I got RPR, standard room for $159.20 plus tax (with AAA). We won't be arriving until 11pm and we are only staying the one night. Just a couple of questions:

1. Do they stock extra pillows & blankets in the closet or should I have it as a request on our reservation?

2. Do they give you a free parking pass for US/IOA? Or should we leave the car at the hotel all day and use their transporation? And what is their transportation? Bus, boat?

I've never stayed at a Universal Hotel before and looking forward to it...just wish we had a bit longer to actually enjoy it:)

1. Yes, they have them in a zipped plastic bag.
2. Leave your car at the hotel. They have boat, bus, bike and they are easily walkable.

We always walk to the parks when we stay at RPR (and HRH). Waiting for the boat just isn't worth it to us. It is much quicker to walk and even if it wasn't, we would still walk. I can't stand waiting around for transportation and the boats are pretty slow. The walk is about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace, less if you hurry. The path is beautifully landscaped and you come out right in front of Islands of Adventure and next to Margaritaville (a big plus if you are hot from the walk and feel the need for a quick drink before Spiderman!). Another few minutes on City Walk will bring you to Universal Studios. Enjoy!

Like Tigerlily`s Mom said walk its quicker, although the boats nice to, definetly leave the car, no need to drive when its right on your doorstep.
I loved the place so much i have booked for 11 nights next July, might increase that if the rates come down with AAA, but will wait and see.
have a great time when your away
