View Full Version : Booking a Universal hotel for one night.
I would possibly like to spend just the one night at a Universal hotel. So for those who have already done it or just booked it - who do you book it through?!! Can you only do it via the official site, or are there any other suggestions? :)
TIA

Becky - if you belong to the AA don't forget to put AAA in the special codes box :)
We booked via the above and it was very straightforward :)
Thanks Tracy and Karen - that seems like the way to go then. :thumbsup2

Karen, is that all you write in - AAA?!!! I realise you then have to provide proof of that at check-in (no problem), but I just imagined you would have to provide them with a even more "special" special code!!!!! :teeth:

When is this trip booked for Becky :)
Not until February 2008, Kaylee!!! :teeth: So three whole years between visits. But my crazed planning just about keeps me going!!! :rotfl:

We also book using the official site. After you book it is worth checking the rates for your date. If they go down you can ring them and request the lower rate be applied to your booking. We have done this twice and saved quite a bit. :goodvibes
Thanks for that great tip Loretta :thumbsup2
Good to "see" you again :goodvibes and I hope you have a wonderful holiday! :Pinkbounc

AAA rates are not out for next year yet ,so doubt you would be able to get it for 2008, like they said just keep watching the rates

If you join the Loews First Club (via their website), you can get an express check in line at the hotel, a free upgrade of room (if one is available and one was when we were there), and also a free gift of things like a bottle of wine and nuts, milk & cookies, etc. You also get a copy of the New York Times in the morning.
We did it this year for the first time, and would definitely do it again.
