Is this true?? I just read this last night. For the Honey I shrunk...playground at MGM. We are going in 2 weeks and were planning on stopping by there, even though I have heard it is HOT, HOT, HOT.

What about Tom Sawyer Island?

Is that true or just a guideline?

That's a guideline. There are many younger children there too. My 2 year old loves both :) (Actually, both my kids loved the play areas since they were old enough to walk)

In HISTK play area, there are some BIG climbing things that you may not want toddlers climbing in like the spider web thing! But there are several areas that are targeted more for toddlers too....small slides, little tunnels, little fountains....

::yes:: yes, just a guideline. When my dd was 2.5, she loved the whole playground, except the gigantic sniffing dog nose, that scared her. :rotfl:

She definitely was seen by CM's, who never said a word about her age, or the many other toddlers who were in there.

I don't recall seeing any age guideline for Tom Sawyer's Island. MY kids have been there under age 4 as well.

We took DD when she was 2 and she was fine climbing and sliding in there. You have to go with them or it's hard to keep track of them. I now have a DS who is 2 and I will be more worried about him in there. He is more wobbly and will also have a tantrum when we have to leave. Thinkng of avoiding this playground but DD remembers it from last trip and asks about it all the time. YOu can definately bring a 2 YO, just be careful.

The good thing about the playground is there is only 1 way out so as long as they are told to stay in the playground I never worried and just stayed by the exit or found shade and waited. Mine always loved it and my DS loved the one in AK also. Sometimes they just need to do kid things .
