Only one resort showed up for either holiday. Port Orleans. I do not want to stay there. Is that all that is available out of every single resort on property? I did the search through the official site for walt disney world resorts. Can it be?

I would try calling CRO because I can't see every Resort but Port Orleans being available for Christmas & New Years.

I'll give them a call in the morning. I don't see either how everything but one resort can be sold out.

You don't say how long of a stay you are looking at. It may be that the resorts have rooms but not for every night of your stay. Consider a split stay for now and checking for other openings as you go, Keep in mind, there is still lots of time for cancellations with packages not having to be paid in full until Mid-November and room only reservations with a 5 day cancellation.

Good luck

I was just putting in some dates for stays around Christmas and interestingly when I put in the "any resort" option it showed no availability for the dates. When I clicked on a specific hotel, it always showed availability. Maybe it's just a glitch in the online booking computer program?

It's very possible that all of Disney property is sold out for that time. If you've ever been to WDW for the holidays, you know how crowded it is. I've heard of people having to be sent to resorts off Disney property because TAs overbooked resorts and there was nothing available on Disney property. Since they book over a year out, the holidays normally sell out fast.

Not much you can do but keep trying :confused3

How many in your party? The online booking agent can only book one room at a time so if you exceed occupancy for the rooms a resort has available you won't see any availability for that resort. Try calling reservation instead of looking online.

We only booked 2 weeks ago at All Star Movies for 16 people (4 rooms). Only the preferred section was available. (12/20 - 12/27) It's what we wanted anyway. My dad checked the airline that we're taking and the plane is almost full. (also, the airfare went up by $100 roundtrip per person) It was only a 1/4 filled (including all of us) 2 weeks ago. So, hurry and find a hotel....Good luck :)

First tried going there for both christmas and new years. Tried just 4 days for new years. No availability.

Theres 4 of us in the party. 3(1 is an 18 year old so now classified as an adult) adults 1 child.

I guess ill go through every hotel then.

How crowded is it for new years compared to christmas?

Was thinking of just lessening the trip this winter to Dec 30th to January 3rd.

I would suggest that you call CSR directly. I just booked 2 rooms yesterday at POFQ and they stated that the only rooms sold out were the value rooms. I had my choice of any moderate resort or deluxe resort.

Where are you hoping to stay? Are you looking for room only or a package?

I have annual passes. An all star resort would be great. Probably going to shorten my stay this year so don't think I want to stay anywhere real nice on the short stay

if you have problems with getting it through disney itself try sams club or bjs they sometimes have rooms and great packages
