Unfortunately, I made these to use as icons, so I only have them in icon size. Sorry.

I can't... get you it. What you do is you click on it with your right mouse button, click save image as... and save it to your computer in a place you can find it. Then you'd go to User CP (at the top of the forum), edit avatar (on the left side of the screen), go down to the bottom where it says "use custom avatar", click that, and then the button that says "browse...", then you find the file you saved to your computer and choose that. Then you click save changes. Then it's your new avatar! :)

I followed a tutorial I found on livejournal to learn how to do it and used Paint Shop Pro 7 to make them. If you have that or, I think Photoshop, I can PM you the link to the tutorial I used. I think it's for experienced users though...

Yeah, people steal them all the time without crediting me. I can link you to the original posts from livejournal with them (the entries, along with the comments, have time stamps on them from a year ago, which with the way LJ works can't be faked) in a PM if you want. I'm just not allowed to link to my icon journal here.
I wouldn't offer to make them if I didn't know how. I actually did a requests post of them on livejournal as well, which is why I have so many of more popular Disney characters.

I don't really like that you're implying that I stole them. I can even link you to the tutorial that taught me how to make them, but it's for Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop.

Hm... I've never tried it with a VMK character before, but I can try. I like the images to be big so they're easier to cut out, but since VMK characters are pretty simple, I don't think it'll be too difficult.

I make them myself using the program Paint Shop Pro 7, which is professional type image editing software, an apple logo image I got off google, and an ipod image I got off google. And, of course, Disney images off the internet. Though in a few cases (like my Scar and Gaston ones) I used images I got off of the DVD.

If the icons you saw on a site look exactly like her's, then the site stole them from her. She gets tons of people stealing her icons all the time and never crediting her. The thing is, she has the ability to make fantastic icons on her own, so why would she bother stealing them?

Yep yep. Lots of people steal them, which is irritating, but what can you do? At least it means they liked them enough to take them. hehe

It'd be insane to say "Hey I'll make you icons from images you give me! And tell me your favorite color!" when I don't make them myself. Cause then... how would I have the icons of the images people gave me in that color? The only reason I haven't made more from provided images is because they either haven't been good for silhouettes, or they're too small to cut out.

when you save it, do you save it as a .gif or a .bmp? There's a bug with Internet Explorer that makes everything download as .bmp files, which aren't usually valid, or their file sizes are too big. If Internet Explorer does that, you need to clear your cache.

Sorry, I meant to reply. I can't get that image to work. It's too small and it's real and not drawn, and when they're real I need them big so I can cut out the details. Even if they're resized, they don't have enough detail since resizing makes it blurry and doesn't add detail.

Arial CYR, I think it came with Windows.

Also, try saving your image as a .gif file if you can. See that fuzziness around Kuzco's body? That's from .jpg compression. In images with a low number of colors, like drawings or these ipod icons, .gif is a good option because it lowers the number of colors and keeps the file size down without .jpg compression noise.

Much better. I think you have your text set on italics though, that's why it's slanted, but maybe that's what you were going for. It's really good for a first try. My first ones looked like lumps of some kind, like the characters were made of play-dough. :)

jmdude - What you do is you click on it with your right mouse button, click save image as... and save it to your computer in a place you can find it. Then you'd go to User CP (at the top of the forum), edit avatar (on the left side of the screen), go down to the bottom where it says "use custom avatar", click that, and then the button that says "browse...", then you find the file you saved to your computer and choose that. Then you click save changes. Then it's your new avatar! :)

I know her personally and I can assure you that she made them all. She's one of the best icon makers on LiveJournal and has actually made NUMEROUS LJ icons for me personally.

If the icons you saw on a site look exactly like her's, then the site stole them from her. She gets tons of people stealing her icons all the time and never crediting her. The thing is, she has the ability to make fantastic icons on her own, so why would she bother stealing them?

It's really not that important. So some people steal some icons and claim they made them, so what? It just stressed me out worrying over it.

The problem with watermarks is that I made these for people to use. To download and use on their own. And who wants an icon with a watermark on it?

Anyway, I think I've proven repeatedly throughout this thread that I did, indeed, make these. Since I filled requests using images provided and if I stole them from someone else that wouldn't be possible.

CapElDano2 - You're welcome. It's just kind of frustrating to spend hours on these things for dozens of people, and get very few thank yous. Some people just take and use them without saying anything, while others don't use them at all. Which pretty much wastes my time.

I've done two (three if you count the recolor) different Eeyore icons already. That image isn't ideal since he's looking over his shoulder and his body is all together, so it'd just look like a lump...
