I had such a great day yesterday. Sadly life's not been too good in the Ozzie household for the last couple of weeks (I've had an eeeky foot infection and DH has just been advised that his job "is at risk" of redundancy - we've got another two weeks to find out if he survives :sad2: , talk about chinese water torture).

But yesterday it was great. Friends whisked me away for lunch, had loads of visitors bearing beautiful pressies, and then went out to the local Italian in the village in the evening with Darryl, Katie and some other family members where I (uncharacteristcally ;) :rotfl2: ) had a few glasses of the old red wine :drinking1 and found everything hysterically funny - including spilling half of my dinner down me when they lit the candles on my surprise (thank you Darryl) birthday cake with a blow torch - I thought they were about to kill me :rotfl:

Taken out for more lunch today (you can tell the old diets going really well this week :teeth: :blush: )
