If you and the person you traded with were both happy with what you got, then it was a good trade. In value - you got a better deal :)

stole the words from my mouth. they must have been on drugs to make that trade (sorry if this offends anyone)!!! or did your signature say that you wanted one? because i made a trade like that (my trade was a little better than that though) to a girl who wanted a pirate hat. i wish people would just hand out stuff like that to me!!! did you tell them it was rare or something??? i just am in total shock!!!!

Yeah, if you both agrreed it's a good trade for both of you then. But really the person who wanted the baby doll top got the bad end of the deal because the cowboy vest is retired and the baby doll top is still available when creating a new character :)

The person you traded with could have been gifting you and just took the shirt in trade as a good will gesture.


I do that all the time.


If I am in a room and someone asks about something nicely and if I have it on me, I will just gift them.

Funny thing is sometimes they close the trade window thinking it is a scam or something.

folks, i think this trade was unbelievable!!! i got:
2 penny presses (green)
a green turnstile
a purple operator's scoreboard
a skeleton at the helm
i think it was 3-5 blue crates
fireworks magic
HSM outfit

all for a pair of pink princess shoes!!!! in my opinion, it was worth it just for the fireworks magic, because i'm incredibly bad at it, but what's your opinion?

It depends, for each person it will be differnet.

I have one hat and no wells, but I wouldn't trade the hat for the well. I would wait a while and try to get the well with something else that I have several copies. But if you have several pirates hats, then trading one for the well be a great deal, since the well is so new.

On the other hand if you just went to WDW with your 20 brothers and sisters who don't play the game then they gave you their wells and you had no pirate hat, then you got the great deal.

In any trade, both people should feel they got good deal. If you are unhappy with the deal - don't trade.

A gold skirt bottom for either fireworks, invisibility, or teleportation magic. Which of those three are the most rare? I am in need of blue dress parts, so would it benefit me to hold onto my gold skirt bottom or to go through with the trade? Thanks for your thoughts! :)

invisible at the moment has no way to obtain it (other than trade) while the other 2 you still can. I personally would go for invisible.

Do you think invisibility magic would more likely get me blue dress parts than the gold skirt itself? Hm, tricky thought. Thanks for the info! I had no idea the magic was no longer available. :)

My daughter traded her pirate hat for an animator's desk because to her it was worth it. She's very girly and loves her crown. She wanted a desk so badly she was very excited when someone asked to trade one for a hat she didn't really want to wear. She always asks my permission to trade and when I saw how happy she was, I felt good about it :thumbsup2

IMO any part of the gold dress is worth more than any of those magics.... You would have a better chance trading that skirt for the blue one, than trying to trade one of those magics for the blue one...


Also Invisiblity magic has not been offically retired according to the VMK site... So it could come back.

i really need a gold skirt to carry out this huge gifting idea. i have 1 star fireworks magic, and i'll trade you some other stuff for it, and you could pm me if you're interested.

IMO this was a bad trade... Not for you... but for them. They may not know the vaule of that shirt now, but when they find out... I am sure they will have regrets....
