looking for cheese dip recipe

Some years ago, Hoop dee doo served a cheese dip as an appetizer. The recipe was in a disney cookbook that we had bought at least 10 years back. We were at WDW last week and they have a volume II cookbook but that recipe is not in there. If anyone has that recipe, could you post it please? We lost our cookbook (Katrina) and we used that recipe all the time, but I can't remember the exact ingredients and amounts.

Pioneer Hall Cheese Dip

3/4 cup half and half
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
8 oz package cream cheese, softened

Heat the half and half with chili powder, stirring to blend and let simmer for a few minutes. Add salt, white pepper and Tabasco sauce. Put cheeses in a bowl and gradually add the hot liquid. Stir until cheeses are mixed. Other seasonings may be added as desired. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables. Enjoy!
