Hello everyone :wave2:

I was just wondering what everyone does with their Disney pins? :confused3

I bought a lot of them last year and have them all in a box at the moment, I am thinking about getting a large frame with a canvas backing and putting them on my wall.

Just curious what you all do with your Disney pins?

I've got loads of pins from previous visits to DLRP and I'm planning on getting more than a few more when we head over to Florida this year. They're currently living in a couple of bags in my cupboard. I previously thought about doing the same kind of thing as you, putting up a framed peice of cloth where I can display them but, as always, there's nowhere I can put the cloth. I'm trying to think of a way that I can keep them in a file or similar. Ideas?

I've seen the really keen pin traders with large files full of pins - not sure what type of files they are though. Try asking on the DIS Collectors Board:

We collected quite a few on our honeymoon, so we covered a rectangular piece of polystyrene in black velvet and stuck the pins in. We then had the board mounted behind glass, it looks fantastic.

There are purpose made carry bags for pins with pages of cloth which are always really cool for displaying. i have a couple of framed cloth boards which I bought off ebay which were designed for pins and these hang proudly in my kitchen. They are always a conversation starter when I have people round (meaning I get to talk disney more :teeth: ).

We buy these from Disney they hold 120 pins each. DS has 4 full now. Taking about 100 pins with him this week to do more trading.

When in Florida this year i picked up a bag, kind of like a laptop bag, but inside it has pages for you to pin the pins to, its has an official Disney pin trading logo on it, was about $40 but well worth it. I think you can pick them up from most shops/stall in the parks... i got mine in downtown disney!

Me, my DW, DS, and DD all have a pin bag each from Disney AND DSand DD also have a ring binder all full of pins. When we go in a few week we will need to get some more as they are in bags at the moment.
Not only are the pins expensive and collectable but very addictive as well :)

My son is also the collector and has now started his second pin keeper. Did not realize they held 120 pins. Boy do we spend to much time and $ at Disney. LOL

I bought a pin board at DLP but they've outgrown that now so i'm using a normal corkboard aswell. I always have some on a lanyard at the parks =]

My DD displays her pins on a cork bulletin board and it's lovely to look at. They can be picked up cheaply all over the place, Woolies, Ikea etc
