We will be leaving POP on Oct 13th to check into HRH and obviously want to "capitilize on our investment". Since we are staying club level, could this early start help us secure a deluxe room or are we better off snoozing off the am at POP? Any first hand experiences? As always. :thumbsup2 thanks for everyone's help.

You can check into HRH that early, even if your room is not ready. They will give you the keys so you can use them in the parks. HRH is the only hotel I have been unsuccessful in getting an upgrade. I would not hold my breath.

By all means, check in early. Wake up at 6am, pack your stuff, and head over to the HRH. On the way, have the limo driver stop at Publix so you can stock your cooler. Most limo services will make a stop as a perk. Check into the HRH at 7-8am, and the line is short at this time. There is no guarantee a room will be ready, but the earlier you check in, the better chance you have. Otherwise, you'll be at the top of the list.
On our last visit to the PBH, our room was not ready, but they called us by noon, and that's when it was ready. Once they call, your keys will work and you can go straight to your room.

i always check in at hrh at 7:20-30.
i get my key, store the luggage and go to the park.

just call the number they give you with the pw to find your room number.

when you return to the hotel, by pass the front desk and go to your room.
it will have been keyed in already.

get in the room, call downstairs and your luggage will be brought up to you.

piece of cake :smokin:

Actually my answer would be yes, it should help you secure a deluxe room if one is *available*! Please keep in mind that there are only a limited amount of deluxe club level rooms at the HRH. Heck, even if you dont get a deluxe room you can check in and go to the concierge lounge and get breakfast and then head to the parks! The breakfast alone will help you "capitilize on your investment".

Have a great vacation and GOOD LUCK!
