Scooter & Stroller parking for rides

Ok, here' a question, and please don't laugh. We're planning a trip in April with our 2 kids (who will be in a stroller) and my MIL (who will have her personal scooter). To get on some of the rides, like say It's a Small World, would she just leave her scooter with the stroller? :confused3 I know with that ride you get in on one side of the boat and exit from the other side. She only has problems with walking long distances right now, so I don't believe she'll need to go on the rides with the scooter or a wheelchair. I was just there, but didn't pay attention at all to what people did with their scooters, I just looked for the stroller parking.
Any insight anyone? I like to plan ahead, and I'm trying to work out any potential problems now.

For most of the rides you can bring the ECV right to the ride.

For example, for IASW your party would go down the exit ramp, park at the bottom, and enter from the exit side.

For Journey into Imagination you would park in the boarding area and a CM will move the ECV to just outside the exit area.

Unless tghere is something saying you must transfer from an ECV toi a wheelchair you can bring the ECV right to where you board.

If you haven't already, check out the disABILITIES FAQs thread. There is a link in that thread to the official Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities.
That lists the access for wheelchairs and ECVs. In most cases, access is just using the regular line and you are able to bring the ECV into the line with you to the boarding area.

There is also a link in the disABILITIES FAQs thread to an older thread on this board about boarding rides. That would be helpful for you to look at too. She may choose to leave the ECV with the strollers (just have her take her keys). Before getting into line, check how long the wait will actually be and how long the walk is (for example, even if the wait is short, the walk is long to get to the entrance for the Safari and for It's Tough to be a Bug).

I used the w/c ECV boat at IASW and it was great. But it was a looong time waiting for the special boat. Particularly if there are other parties ahead of you. If your MIL is able to wait in line I would opt not to use the w/c entrance and special boat for IASW. You can leave the ECV with the strollers. Just take the key and any personal belongings with you.

Thanks everyone. :thumbsup2 I'll definitely be studying those other forums. I wasn't sure how secure leaving it with the stroller would be. I guess when it's your personal one, you tend to worry more than if you rent! I think she'd be ok waiting in the lines as long as they're not too long. (45 minutes I think would be WAY too much!) But it shouldn't be too crowded then, so I think we'll be ok in the end. I just want to make sure she has a great time without having to worry about anything. (that's my job! :teeth: )
