Any ideas on how early to be at Pit airport (flying USAir) the day after Thanksgiving - our flight leaves at 9:00am? Do you think that 2 hours will be enough?

Really not sure, I would personally go for the 2 hours to be safe. You can always call the airline or airport to be safe.

That should be fine, the day AFTER T-Day isn't a high volume day. Have a great trip--maybe we'll see you there!

yes it is a high volume day for travel. Pittsburgh is a major hub for uselessair. I remember last year the day after thanksgiving. the airport was packed! I would be at the airport by 7am for your flight. and since they consolidated so many flights it should be busier this year. this is something a lot of peole aren't realizing. flights should be fuller on this day now that they cancelled some of the flights. with uselessair you never know how long the line will be. but we at least have curbside check in now so you can take advantage of that! and both fridays and O'briens serve a good breakfast!(they are both in airside once up the escalators fridays is behind that and obriens is at the beginning of concourse D.) if you go to fridays you can watch the planes take off and land and taxi etc.
