So I am not feeling very good about any upcoming codes or special rates. My TA will be in the office tomorrow, but the other Disney TA that was in the office today did not seem to very excited about anything. I am sure that if there was anything the TA's that belong to the DIS would already know. I am disapointed but I planned our trip with not expecting anything. I hoped for a bonus to help me save more money for the trip. I think it is getting too late to run any promo specials for Oct or Nov. I could be wrong, I am pretty new to all of this.

So do we still keep our fingers crossed??? Or is it looking not so great!!!!! :confused3

You know I started thinking about this and wondered if the reason there were no codes for the months of Oct/Nov was due to the fact they are unveiling the new promo and figure they don't need to? Just a thought.

So you didn't get a chance to talk to the TA that didn't seem excited?
Did he/she say anything about any promos at all?

Just an observation but in previous years it looks like codes for October/ November weren't released at the least until the end of August. So still keeping my fingers crossed, maybe we will upgrade :cool1:

It's way to early to say there will be no codes for Oct/Nov. timeframe. I would bet that the next set of codes to be released will be for the month of Oct. only since October is considered Regular Season.

As the previous poster said, historical rate releases show Oct. rates came out in late August in previous years.

Yes late August is when they have come out before so don't give up home yet.

So, what happens if you've already paid the balance on the trip and codes come out that apply to the dates of your stay? Does Disney reimburse you the difference or upgrade you or are you just out of luck?

We're going 11/4-11/9 and the balance is due 9/20.

We've used Small World Vacations, so she's supposed to be looking on my behalf -- just wondering how it works.

We booked our room and paid it in full for 2/2004 trip. Codes came out 1/2 and I called and applied it to my reservation. When we checked in we had a $200 credit and proceded to use it for food charged to the room.

A few years ago, I had a Nov trip booked and got a postcard in September, and general codes came out right after that. That's what I am hpoing for this year. I just booked airfare on JetBlue, but need to save on the room to make it a go! Come on Pixie Dust!! :goodvibes

I spoke with a CM the other day. She told me to sit tight regarding codes. She eluded to codes coming out without really saying it.... :)

I called my TA this morning. She told me not to give up hope, she could get an e-mail any day from Disney. Like I said I am new too this so maybe, it might be a bit early to loose faith. I will just sit tight and keep the faith!!!!!

Everyone said the same last year. "There won't be any codes" "It's too late my TA hasn't heard anything". Then on a Friday at the end of September Mousesavers had up " A little birdie told me that there will be a deal coming Tues" well sure enough there was a code. Don't give up.

Keep in mind, also, that the current discount codes are good for booking until August 18th. In the past, Disney has not released a new discount until the current one has expired. So, I would not expect to see anything until AT LEAST August 19th, or a week or two later. Don't give up hope yet! :sunny:

I can give you a little history of the codes. If you go to mousesavers.com/historicalwdw.discounts.html, it will show all the discounts and when they were released from 1/03-now. So for October, the date they were released was 8/25.

We went to Disney last November and the codes came out right around my 45 day mark. I had a AAA package booked, but when the promo came out my AAA agent rebooked the trip for me.
