DC for under 3?

Are kids under 3 free at Discovery Cove??

I can't find any info on their website...only about 3-6 year olds which are charged the non-dolphin swim price.

I'm sure they are, but it would be best to leave them home with grandparents.

DC is like going to the keys, a tropical get away.

It's kinda hard to keep that atmosphere when a little 2-3 year old is running around crying. Little ones have no idea what DC is. They have no clue you're trying to relax. So they do what any 2-3 year old would do, and that's run all over the place and then cry when they don't get their way.

Hubby and I did DC last year but October 2007 we will be going back and bringing the whole extended family. I am pregnant now which means our baby would be about 10 months old by then. We have a 5 year old niece that can't do the swim but the rest of the family wants to so I figured we'd all go together and I can watch our baby and my niece while they all do the dolphin swim.

I've seen and done it all before so I don't mind relaxing on the beach with the baby for part of the day. I'm sure grandma and grandma will take over for a bit while I do some snorkeling! :teeth: I would love to watch the family experience the dolphin swim from the beach. My mother-in-law is a dolphin nut and I would really like to see her react with her favourite animal!

I guess I will call DC to make sure about under 3 being free.

I checked the website myself, I also have a two year old I want to take and in the section under FAQ's, it does state that under three can go, just not part of the dolphin swim. :cool1:

Yes, it does state that a 2 year old can go, but it does not say that they are free! That is what I am looking for :rolleyes1

Any child under the age of 3 are free. I went through the checkout process and entered all info. and my 2 year old came up as free. I also received the $50 of of the dolphin swim and the non-dolphin swim. :cool1:
