Was this price for a particular date? I was told for the first night (Fri 29 Sep) it would be $26.58 for APH.

dang you are lucky.
i had to pay the $15 for fed ex jan 1st when i ordered the 5 day promo
then i had to pay the $15 for fed ex again when i had the ap sent out to me.

this time for the hhn tixs, i am using the kiotsh pick up.

after buying the 5 day pass and when bealls promo came out, i modified my tickets and received credit for them towards the pap

how did it happen you did not have to pay? did you get the canadian crew to place the order?

I used the pass for fun number. Yes I got free shipping, but the guy I spoke with would only let me buy 6 discounted HHN tickets per pass. And I mean ONLY 6 discounted tickets for the whole freaking event! I thought that was a little odd. :confused3

i was under the impression it was 6 tickets per pass at a time of hhn.
meaning, if you go oct 6, only can buy 6 tix w/ap discount. and then for each date only 6 tickets.......

that suxs big time if you were only allowed to buy a total of 6 hhn tixs for the entire event.....

We bought 6 Friday night HHN passes and express passes using my APH, and then I had to have the service rep look up my DHs APH for the Sat HHN and express passes. They even had to run my card twice because it was "two orders" :confused3

So if I have this straight, there are no discounts for AP holders for the Express passes for HHN. The Express passes for Fri the 27th are $50.00, plust tax. Wow, that's a lot of loot. If my math is right, with my AP, getting a frequent fear pass, plus going on a peak night (Friday the 27th), getting EP for just that Friday, will cost me almost $400 for the 3 of us. I am torn, because I have read how the peak nights are better than the off peak (Sun-Thurs) This is my first HHN, so I'm trying to figure this all out, sorry if I am repeating stuff from other forums or topics.

yes.

did you see the figures i posted on the cost of hhn with the ap and the cost of the epp?

i listed it with the tax. that is what i paid for a friday, saturday, sunday.

i like peak night as it continues to 2am.
non peak shuts down at midnight.

yes, these prices are high, much higher than what i paid last year.

last year i bought the multi day pass and the stay and scream ticket.
the s & s ticket is a cheaper hhn ticket. anyone can buy them as an add on.
also bought the epp with a discount.

i am sorry there are no discounts for the epp............

i come to universal from the chicago area each year just for the HHN event.
i am totally and completely addicted to it.

i either attend the first weekend or second as the crowds are less at the begining of the month.

We have our week planned for the 22nd through the 29th. I am thinking of getting a Frequent Fear Pass for the 22nd and 26th (saves a little over the individual night prices) and going Friday with express passes, so, three nights total, 2 non peak and one peak. I think I will call and order the tix and express passes today. I am an PAP holder, so I'll be buying everything except the express passes at those rates. Thanks for the replies, sorry I missed the earlier posting of the prices, I was bouncing around between multiple forums (the DIS, IOA Central, Theme Park Review, Universal Excitement) and thought I read all there was to read.

One more thing, if I am already at the Parks when they close for HHN, can I just go to the holding area, or must I buy a stay and scream ticket?? I'm not sure what that is. I am under the impression that if I am at the park already since I am an AP holder, I can just go to the holding area, is this correct?

If your in the park on a day that hhn is taking place and have a ticket for hhn that night you can stay.

Yes you can! it's called "Stay & Scream" mind you, I did that one year & by 10pm through HHN I was dead tired. I'll never do that again :sad2:

many people go to the park around 3ish and then at 5 go to the stay and scream area. but, you have to have a hhn ticket to do so.

this allows them to be in the park and start the houses and rides early before the general public come in.

the stay and scream sections are allowed to leave the holding area once security has given the okay that the park has been cleared out.

the holding area is a resturant. any employee can direct you to it.

if you don't go to the holding area, the line at the entrance of the park is sooooooo long. and timely as you need to go thru the metal detectors.

the first time i went to hhn i was in a daze. i made a lot of mistakes in not getting enough correct info in advance.

even though i have been quite a few years now (6), i still learn new things in the universal forums.

if you have more questions, just ask here.
