My bid of $22 a day for a minivan in January was accepted. The total for the weeks rental with tax is $202. :D
This is with Budget.

Snoopylovertoo,

What rental compny did you receive? (just wondering if it was at the airport or offsite.)

Thanks, Steve

You lucked out getting a great rate at an onsite MCO agency. Others have posted they were assigned to Alamo, which is offsite. Right now I have a mini van rate of $249 before taxes with Dollar (onsite at MCO). I'll keep checking right up until a week or so before we leave and if I can't get a better rate, maybe I'll think of trying Priceline. I just hate the thought of having to take one of the shuttle buses to Alamo. Been there, done that, and hope to never do it again!

I debated going thru priceline because of that fact that I could of gotten Alamo or Hertz, but since my family is flying in an hour before the In-laws get in I decided to go for it. I was really thrilled to get such a good deal with Budget Car Rental which has an on airport location and if I had read the biddingfortravel.com BEFORE I bid, I could have saved an extra $10 as they have a $2/day $10 max bonus right now.

I currently have a mini-van ressie through Enterprise 12/2-12/9 for $208.71 including taxes (no coupons). They still have the rate showing on their website even though I booked it a month ago.
