I've had Weight Watchers and no name brands and they break, stop and don't read correctly.

I'm not afraid to spend decent $$$ for one but I want it to be accurate and fall off me all the time (WW did this).

Anyone have or know of a good brand or model pedometer?

I haven't tried it myself, but Roadrunner Sports has a really spiffy "running computer" that is a heart rate monitor, GPS, stopwatch, etc. Using the GPS technology gives you really accurate information regarding distance, speed, etc. It is overkill if all you really want is the pedometer, but it is real neat.

Do you where it like a watch or on another place on your body?

Someone said try it hook to your bra - oh yeah, that's attractive....

Omicron has a digital one that counts steps, keeps info for 7 days, and some other neat features. I believe I spent $24.95 for it on ebay (then I lost it at the Magic kingdom) :guilty: .

It is a watch type thing and then another part that clips to your shoe. It is pricy, but very cool. I believe it is made by POLAR.

That's my problem. I don't mind spending the money for a good one, but because it sits on the waistband, I tend to lose them. Errgh.

I'll have to get a lo-jack for my pedometer. :)
