How early for checkin at Orlando?

For those of you who have been recently, how long did it take you to check in at the Orlando Airport? Some airports are saying to allow over 2 hours. We are flying on SWA

We flew this weekend on SWA and it took us 30 minutes at Phoenix and 20 minutes at Spokane, Washington. We got there 2 hours early. Then I listened to my 3.5 yr old ask me how long until we leave. I used to think getting there an hour early was bad...but 2 hours was even longer.

Just curious. We are planning to get there 2 hours ahead but am wondering how much "entertainment" to bring for the airport wait.

I'd say you'd be fine with 2 hours, maybe even 1 1/2 hours since you can "pre-board" with your 3YO on SWA.

We flew out of MCO via SWA on Monday night. Check-in and security were quick and easy, just have your ID ready and do what they tell you. Took us about 5 minutes, and we had TWO little kids, a carseat, a double stroller ....

I second what Dandelion said! It took us maybe 15 minutes at DFW, and 20 minutes at MCO last week, and we had 4 adults, 2 kids and a double stroller!
