Hot dogs, pasta, jambalaya, or good ol' PB&J.

pennst8r

Does it count if I started thawing tomorrow's dinner already or is that cheating?? :goodvibes

Without that, I'd have to say pasta--I could make roasted veggies in olive oil to go on it, and a salad. I bought some melons yesterday and cut them all up and made a fuit salad.

Patsy, how do you come up with these good questions every day?

Kirby
07-01-2007, 02:59 PM
We could grill pork chops, fry up some squash and cook italian green beans for starters. Or we could have chili dogs. We could also heat up the brisket that we just had for lunch, bake the Omaha Steaks baked potatos that I have in my freezer and steam some zucchini. And I could put together a salad to go with all three meals.

Good questions :lmao: , I'm glad you feel that way cause I feel as if they are regular sometimes boring ones.

But, to answer the QOTD-
Since we have things for my son's birthday party and such-new york steaks, grilled portabella mushrooms, fresh asparagus, hot dogs, grilled chicken, pasta salad, mac. salad, and all kinds of other things.

Merry Christmas in July DISers :santa:.
Here is todays QOTD-
Look into your refrigerator.....if you were to cook a meal for a party of 4 people, what would you be able to serve?

Appetizers: frozen used to be cocktail shrimp, can fry them with tempura butter and toss salad

spaghetti and some toasted bread with butter

mixed ice cream boat

Does anyone know what happened to some of our regular past DIS exchangers like Carrie and her daughter Amy......?

I still see carrie occasionally along the hallways of DIS :rolleyes1

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends!!

We are officially doing nothing!! Well DH and the kids are watching Lord of the Rings! The weather has been yucky-we had a tornado watch up until a little while ago. So we will be watching fireworks on tv...nothing around here can compare to WDW anyway:rotfl: I think I'm spoiled. We did get to BBQ in between rain and this morning we went to the movies. DH and DS saw Transformers and me and my DDs saw Ratatouille. Cute movie!

So how's everyone else's 4th??

Pooh67_68

Right now a lot of foods are overpriced.

I do like frozen food. We eat frozen veggies and we like the Stouffer's frozen dinners. Once in a while we will eat a Swanson TV dinner or Pepperidge Farm pot pie.

*What three foods do you think are overpriced at the store?

*Are you a fan of frozen foods?

Right now I think milk is overpriced (just paid $4.49 for a gallon in Sweetbay)
Also, chicken cutlets and gatorade. I mean, chicken cutlets are overpriced because they did the pounding/slicing to make them thin, but $6.99 a lb is too much.

I like some frozen foods. I like frozen cheese ravioli and vegetables. Does ice cream count?:) My son likes frozen mozzarella sticks.

AlexWyattMommy
07-05-2007, 09:42 AM
I think it all overpriced. It is really quite crazy.

We love frozen food. I've always believed that frozen veggies were healthy than canned. (no science to back that up, though) And frozen seems to last longer (not spoil) like fresh does on me.

Here is my recipe for my Slow cooker Pizza soup it is Yummy:cloud9:

1 can(28 ounces)diced tomatoes in garlic,not drained
1 can(14.5 ounces)beef broth
8ounces diced pepperoni
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 cup water
1Tbsp italian seasoning
2 cups shredded mozzarella

Mix all ingredients, except cheese in a 3 quart or larger slow cooker.Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until vegetables are tender.Ladle into soup bowls and top with cheese.

PS I usually buy the stick pepperoni and chop that up,but any pepperoni will do.

And for the question of the day,I usually take long showers.

I have to agree that I think milk is way overpriced at the store. We get ours at Walgreens b/c they put it on sale often.

We do eat a lit of frozen foods sadly. It is just easier and cheaper most of the time and we like them so yes they do get cooked around here. :rolleyes1

Most of you probably already know this recipe.

Sand & Dirt Cups

1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 qt. (4 cups) cold milk, divided
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
20 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, finely crushed
16 worm-shaped chewy fruit snacks

PREPARE vanilla and chocolate pudding mixes separately with milk as directed on packages. Let stand 5 minutes. Gently stir 1/2 cup of the whipped topping into each bowl of pudding.
SPRINKLE 1 Tbsp. of the cookie crumbs into bottom of each of 8 (6-oz.) dessert cups; top each with layers of 1/4 cup vanilla pudding, 1 Tbsp. cookie crumbs and 1/4 cup chocolate pudding. Sprinkle evenly with remaining cookie crumbs. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
INSERT 2 fruit snacks into each dessert just before serving.

Ok, let me catch up!!

Band I'd like to sing back up for..... I don't know, a fun band like Kiss!!

What groceries are overpriced: ALL OF THEM!! But Milk ($4.19 a gal. here:eek: ) Bread (includes rolls of all types!) and eggs (I'm seriously considering investing in chickens). I guess I'd add fruits and veggies too. I paid $5.00 for a dozen ears of corn..it WAS Jersey corn and it WAS oh so yummy!!! But at that price it's more like dessert for the meal than a veggie!!

Frozen Foods: I do buy frozen french fries, pizza rolls, nuggets, raviolis and I do keep a few En cor entrees on hand for "emergencies".

Shower or Bath: For cleanliness a shower definitely!! I NEED my shower every morning or I'm just not happy  . But I do occasionally like to indulge in a long bath!!:cloud9:

Recipe: Amish Funnel Cake Recipe (Fun for this time of the year!)

Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
4 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
To beaten eggs, add milk and sugar. In separate bowl sift dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture, beating until smooth. Heat oil to 375 degrees and pour batter into hot fat through a regular household funnel. Control the flow of batter by holding your finger over the bottom of the funnel. Make patterns, designs, swirls or whatever with the stream of batter as it flows into the hot fat. When "cakes" are golden brown, drain, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve warm

With two little ones, I don't get to take long baths. But I do like to take showers better.

King's Bakery Bread Pudding
1 loaf King's Bakery sweet bread
1 1/2 blocks butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
9 eggs, beaten
raisins
cinnamon
nutmeg

Melt the butter, sugar, and milk. Break the bread into large pieces in a -greased 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle the raisins over the bread pieces. Let the melted butter mixture cool till warm. Add eggs-making sure that the mixture is not too hot or else it will curdle. Add the vanilla, and pour over the bread using a small cup so that the mixture gets poured over evenly over the bread. Been busy the last couple of days so I'm behind answering questions also. So......

I think that milk, meat and vegetables are overpriced at the grocery store.

We like frozen vegetables for the most part. My kids like Totinos pizza, Eggo waffles and State Fair corny dogs. They occasionally eat the big frozen pretzels (the name escapes me). I'll eat Stouffers French Bread pizza occasionally.

I made baked beans for the 4th and none were left. We had over 20 people here so I had to quadruple the recipe. It's one that I have had since Junior High. I learned how to make it in Home Economics in the 7th grade.

Baked Beans

1 16 oz. or 20 oz. can of Pork and Beans
2 tbsp. catsup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 onion (for whole dish even if you double, triple, etc.)
1 small diced green pepper
bacon slices

Combine all ingredients except for bacon and mix well. Pour into casserole dish, lay bacon slices on top. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour.

Nancy, I love hash browns! Which soup did you use, mushroom, chicken or celery?

I grew up taking baths but switched to showers when I got married. I've been a shower person ever since. They rejuvenate me!

My guess on the animal crackers is 367.

How about combining an exchange --
like a used cookbook exchange. :) Get something "different". No one has to pay any $ out, except for postage. And the cookbooks can be mailed Media Mail, which is less expensive and may only take an extra day or two in mail time.

Or a White Elephant Exchange. And rather have an all at once multiple person exchange, have a chain exchange.
Someone mails someone a white elephant item.
That person in turn can either keep the item, and mail another. Or mail the item they received on to someone else.
And that person can either keep what they receive, or mail it on, etc.
And maybe for any item that is passed on, include a note showing where the item came from so we can see the path it takes.
:hippie:
Pin people sometimes do something along this line. It is usually called Pin Zapped, or Zinged.
Someone mails a pin. That person can keep it or pass it on, etc.
The more non-desireable pins are sometimes called Rusty Nails (as opposed to the opposite -- a Holy Grail).
So we could have a Rusty Nail (pin) exchange.

What type of toppings do you like on your pizza?

Here recently I have been just happy with cheese pizza. But if I were to choose toppings, they would be hamburger, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms and black olives.

If you were to be in the customer service industry, what company would you like to work for other then Disney?
Wouldn't want to do customer service. Now I wouldn't mind being a stocker in a store and helping the occasional customer that needed help. I did work in a service department once but it was behind the scenes. I only spoke to the customer over the phone. It wasn't too bad.

I've thought of doing something like the White Elephant exchange you described Luv2Roam. I know that I've sworn off exchanges for now but I might consider coming back for something like that. I'll be honest, for me, the exchanges have become a little lack luster now that we have our own board. We had much better participation when we were part of the CB. I wonder if they would let us back in?

Pizza..if I order it out only cheese or pepperoni. Now if I make it I also like chicken, sausage and meatballs/ground beef on it. We don't usually have anything else with it.

Customer Service...DH and I own an Electrical Contracting Business so I guess I'm already doing "Customer Service". But I think it would have to be for a company/product that I really support and like. Like Hershey's or Gertrude Hawk Chocolates :rotfl:

Pizza..yummy! We eat pizza every weekend. :) I like a chicken alfredo pizza (only if from pizza inn). My main fave is pepperoni and italian sausage and extra cheese. I lile garlic/cheese bread with my pizza too.

As for customer service.. could not do it. I could not deal with mad people all day..lol

We can always do a BOC exchange! That would be box of crap!! lol Anyone here woot? ;) It would be like that. Central A/C is the only way to survive a Florida summer. We keep it at 75. I thought I would melt and die in March, April and May when the old A/C died and I had to wait to get a new system installed. I have no idea how anyone lived here before A/C.

I try not to use the oven as often as I usually do in the summer months to keep it cooler in here. I'd love to see some of everyone's lighter recipes, summer salads, etc.

At home we have a heat pump that can be turned to cool when it gets hot, which is only a couple of times over a summer. Otherwise just open windows, we have moderate temps most of the time.
here in AZ, central air....they have it set at 77 and it is fine.

No recipes here, my files are at home on my computer.

Do you enjoy going to the movies? What type of movies, do you like to watch, and what type of snacks do you usually get at the concession stand?

Luv2Roam
07-14-2007, 08:17 AM
We don't go to movies all that often any longer. Most of today's movies are very predictable. Not enough creative writing in movies now.
I like comedies, mysteries and some Disney of course.
But movie mysery equates to blood, gore, and guts. I prefer more of the implied Hitchcock type. Which there are none. :rotfl: So that settles that.
I don't like seeing images of living things decapitated, beat, stabbed, shot, etc. I am just odd that way. ;) :confused3
And often the movie theatres mean dealing with a lot rude or irrtating people. (Cell phones, non-stop talking, seat kickers, people coughing on me/DH, etc. Sounds enjoyable, huh? And I would pay money for that why? )
Getting so we REALLY have to want to see a movie to go to the theatres any more.
I don't want to watch sappy love stories. Too often a love interest in thrown in movies where it is not necessary or fit.
Using Jurassic Park as an example, was a hoot. A friend and I made fun of it al the way through. It was ridiculous.
So I guess I like something more believable too. But loved all the Pirates movies. (Not believable at all. :rotfl2: )
I guess they had a nice blend of storyline, action, comedy, and a hint of not so much as romance, but almost soap opera. (Who is doing what, or will be doing what, with whom? :rolleyes1 :rotfl: )

DH always buys popcorn.
If I get anything I like the kiddie packs. Those are great for me. :wizard:

AlexWyattMommy

We do enjoy going to the movies. So far this year we have seen Meet the Robinsons in 3D, Pirates 3, Ratatouille and HP OOTP. All were excellent movies. DH must have his movie popcorn and a soda to wash it down.

pennst8r

We have tickets (had them for awhile! :goodvibes ) to see HP at the IMAX theater tomorrow!

The last ones we saw were Oceans 13, and POC. I'm letting DH take the boys to see Transformers...I think he'll enjoy it more than me.

We usually go see family movies. I can't remember the last time DH and I went to the movies alone together. I think it was when I was pregnant with my DD15!!

We took them to see POTC3 and on 4th of July the DDs and I saw Ratatouille and DH and DS saw Transformers. We usually get popcorn, sodas, gummy bears for me and chocolate chip cookie dough bites.

We don't go that often at all. It's just too expensive for 5 people anymore. It's sad because seeing a movie on the big screen is always so cool!!

Movie junkie here.
We go almost every weekend. Date time.
I also go sometimes during the week alone to see movies DH doesn't like.
I like action/adventure, suspense, romantic comedy and some scary ones....but not with a lot of gore.
We have gone to the movies twice since I have been in AZ.
We usually only get a drink at the theater, occasionally popcorn.

ADisneygirl
07-14-2007, 01:28 PM
I love the movies, but I don't get to go as often as I'd like. I really love action/adventure best, movies like Bourne Identity, Mission Impossible, POTC types. Then romance, dramas. I hate most comedies (because they seem dumb) and most horror because they stay with me and my mind is never at ease afterwards!

We have to get movie theater popcorn and a drink when we go.

Pooh67_68
07-14-2007, 03:21 PM
I have not been to a theater, since Interview with a Vampire was made. I just can't sit still long enough, so waiting until it comes to DVD is best for me.

The few times that I have seen a movie in the theater, I always bought large popcorn (shared with my sister) a soda and some type of chocolate.

As a child I remember my mother always making a family party for me, all my cousins came over, my Aunts, Uncles and grandparents. Once I had a school friend party, and there were two girls in a fight over a prize from pin the tail on the donkey! I still remember that.

Lately we have seen POTC3 and Ratatoulle.

We normaly do not buy stuff at the theater b/c we go out for pizza afterwards.

As a kid I would choose where I wanted my b-day each year. When I was in the younger stages I always picked Chucke Cheese. :) As I got older U wanted to take friends and go to Carowinds or the mall or something like that.

It hasn't been too bad so far this year. We haven't had a 100 degree day yet as far as I know. Our air on the living room side of the house (we have two units thankfully) has gone out but with a fan positioned just right in the hallway and the ceiling fans on high, it's not that bad.

Do you enjoy going to the movies? What type of movies, do you like to watch, and what type of snacks do you usually get at the concession stand?
Yes, I love going to the movies but only go a couple times a year at best. Joe doesn't care too much to go unless it's a movie that he really wants to see or a special occasion (anniversary, birthday). I like comedys, drama, chick flicks and adventure. Anything that can take me away. Not fond of true story stuff but I did enjoy Pursuit of Happyness. I don't usually get anything at the concession stand because of the expense. I just put a treat in my purse and eat that usually if I'm with my kids. Now if Joe's along, of course we get cokes and popcorn. The last movie I saw was Transformers. Loved it! My son, James, asked me to go with him.

As a child, how did you celebrate your birthdays?
My mom usually baked a cake and we would have relatives over. I had a couple of parties with the neighbor kids. Nothing themed.

Time is passing way too fast!

I actually rather like Freddy who is from Nightmare on Elm Street Jason is from Friday the 13th. I don't like Jason or Leatherface as much. Freddy had a real character and personality. I guess because he was a speaking character. The other 2 don't do a whole lot of dialogue. I've only seen bits and pieces of Leatherface(no pun intended!) I'm just not into the whole Texas Chainsaw thing!! I've seen 2 Friday the 13ths and I guess all but one of the Nightmare ones. I really don't like horror movies at all!! The ones I did see was when I was a teenager. Now I prefer to laugh at movies..real life is scary enough!!

Have fun!!

I won't see the Chain Saw one. The fact that it is based on true happenings really freaks me out. I hated the Friday series. I mean, come on, how many times can you not kill someone dead?
The Nightmare ones were really scary. I did see those as a teen. I still get flash backs of the girl turning into a bug. Yes, I do have a bug phobia.

I don't think I could handle going somewhere with a theme like that. Too much blood & gore for my tastes.

I cook most everything well, and I love to bake, but I must say that the one thing I don't prepare often is steak. My family apparantly enjoys steak because they ordered it frequently enough on our trip to WDW this summer, but anytime I attempt to make it at home it never turns out right. Never as good or even close to a restaurant steak. Maybe its the cut of meat, or the cooking method -- who knows. I just stink at it!

Panda Express Orange Flavored Chicken

Recipe By :top secret recipes
Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Chicken/Turkey Foreign

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
Sauce
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced water chestnuts
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 teaspoon chopped green onions
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
5 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons arrowroot
Chicken
4 chicken breast fillets
1 cup ice water
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups unsifted cake flour
Vegetable oil for frying

Combine all ingredients for sauce--except the cornstarch and arrowroot--in a small saucepan over high heat. Stir often while bringing mixture to a boil. When sauce reaches a boil, remove it from heat and allow it to cool a bit, uncovered.
Slice chicken breasts into bite-size chunks. Remove exactly 1 cup of the sauce from the pan and pour it over the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or other container that allows the chicken to be completely covered with the sauce. Chicken should marinate for at least a couple of hours. Cover remaining sauce and leave it to cool until chicken is ready.
When chicken is marinated, preheat 2" of vegetable oil in a wok or skillet to 350 degrees.
Combine cornstarch with arrowroot in a small bowl, then add 3 tablespoons of water. Stir until cornstarch and arrowroot have dissolved. Pour this mixture into the sauce and set the pan over high heat. When sauce begins to bubble and thickens, cover and remove from heat.
Beat together the ice water and egg in med. bowl. Add baking soda and salt.
Add 3/4 cup of flour and stir with fork just until the flour is blended into the mixture. The batter will be lumpy.
Sprinkle another 1/4 cup flour on top of the batter and mix with only one or two strokes. Most of this flour will still be floating on top of the mixture. Put the remaining flour (1/2 cup) into a med. bowl.
Dip each piece of chicken first into flour, then into batter. Let some of the batter drip off and then slide the chicken into the oil. Fry up to 1/2 of the chicken pieces at a time, for 3-4 min., or until golden brown. Flip the chicken over halfway through the cooking time. Remove the chicken to a rack or paper towels to drain.
As the chicken cooks, reheat the sauce left covered on the stove. Stir occasionally.
When all the chicken is done, pour it into a large bowl, and cover with the thickened sauce. Stir gently until all the pieces are well coated.

Panda Express Orange Flavored Chicken

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
Sauce
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced water chestnuts
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 teaspoon chopped green onions
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
5 teaspoons cornstarch

Chicken
4 chicken breast fillets

Good Morning all! Happy Anniversary Patsy.

For those of you who are married, how many years have you been married for? And for those of you who are single, what are some of the criterias that you are looking for in a SO?

As I am soon to be single again :woohoo: my criteria for the next lucky SO :rotfl: would be as follows: he will have to  everything Disney :tinker: , he will have to treat me like a princess: , he must love :coffee: (esp. Starbucks), must have a great sense of humor :rotfl2: , not overdo the :drinking1 , enjoy the :beach: and make me feel like I'm on :cloud9: . Must be young at heart  but mature and responsible.

Thinking of Vero Beach and the possibility of daily FL thunderstorms made me think of two other possible exchanges:

* Anything weather related
* Anything vacation related

The weather related could be anything from clothing (rain gear, sunglasses) to an outdoor thermometer.
For the vacation we could have participants mention any place they hoped to visit in the near future, even if a local beach or camping.

Have these been done before?
What do you think?

Pooh67_68

Pierogies

Tater Tots
Egg Rolls
When I worked with my sister, we used to deep fry our bacon. Sometimes I throw my Tyson chicken patties in the fryer too.

AlexWyattMommy
07-19-2007, 06:58 AM
My DH would deep fry sandwiches if I would let him. :rotfl:

Normal stuff, fries, rings, corndogs, egg rolls. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

I will have to try the pierogies that way. I normally saute them with butter and onions. But I bet the do have a better crunch fried.

Would you be willing to share your won ton recipe, Patsy? I love them!

At our house, I like to fry pork chops till it gets brown, but then I put them in the oven so that it stays moist and it cooks more. Fish, bacon, sausage.... I know that it is not healthy. But, I prefer to fry my foods compared to steaming it.

Thank you. We are actually suppost to see the most effects of it on this island with heavy rains and such, but it is one of the nicest days that we have had in a few weeks. You can see a clear view towards the pretty blue ocean, it is a nice and sunny day with the birds chirpping outside, there is a light cool breeze, and there is no sight of a storm. I used to think storms were sort of romantic back in NY, when the thunder and lightning seemed a good distance away. But here in Florida I HATE them! Tampa Bay is the lightning capital of the world I heard on the news last night. Some poor kid got zapped walking along the beach -- wasn't even raining yet. Another man got zapped reaching for his car door handle - blew right through his thumb and out his foot.

No, I don't like storms at all.

This is a recipe that I got off of a 1980 Better Homes and Garden recipe card that came in the mail. Joe just loves this one and so does James.

Spaghetti Pie

6 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 c cottage cheese (8 oz)
1 lb ground beef or bulk pork sausage
1/2 c chopped onion
1/4 c chopped green pepper
1 8-oz can (1 c) chopped tomatoes
1 6-oz can tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese (2 oz)

Cook the spaghetti according to pkg directions, drain. Stir butter or margarine into hot spaghetti. Stir in parmesan cheese and eggs. Form spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in a buttered 10" pie plate. Spread cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust.

In skillet, cook ground beef or pork sausage, onion and green pepper till vegetables are tender and meat is browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and garlic salt; heat through.

Turn meat mixture onto spaghetti crust. Bake, uncovered, in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.

Combine the following ingredients, and soak the chicken for 2-3 hours or overnight.

4 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Eggs
2 Stalks, green onion, chopped
2 Cloves, garlic, grated

Deep fry the chicken, until it is brown and crispy.

Patsy, I don't have a recipe that I created and all recipes found in a book become a part of the family. When someone finds a recipe we think all will like, we get everyone together and make it.

OK ladies, would ya all mind sharing some easy chicken recipes? And John is VERY PICKY so nothing fancy.

:santa: Merry Christmas in July!!! :santa:

Christmas in July has started on QVC :dance3: . Is anyone else watching it? I am trying to find some unique gifts for exchanges as well as for people on my gift list.

So, today's QOTD is-
*Do you purchase things from QVC or HSN?

Meriweather

I went through a phase a long time ago......pre computer time, that I spent one whole winter buying things on HSN. Mostly jewelry.
Now very seldom.
I don't even turn them on....too many other things to keep me busy and take my money :rotfl:

Ok, so I am so bad with recipes.. I just don't have anything special. My best is my chicken caserole which is pretty simple over all. Just uses cream of chicken soup, white meat chicken, bread crumbs and seasoning. :) Layer and bake! I always can make a very tastey one.

YAY! Christmas in July is on QVC! I am watching now! :santa: :cool1:

I have not bought a whole lot from shopping shows but I have picked up a piece of jewelry here and there. :)

For today's QOTD, you will have to do some online searching and posting. Go to www.hallmark.com. There you will find a bunch of different Disney ornaments, post a picture of the one you like the most.

I personally :cloud9:  this set. I just wish we had a Hallmark store here instead of 2 1/2 hours away so that I could get this. Maybe I can get my husband to come with me one day before Christmas :rolleyes1 to the store :coffee: I hope.
