I have been scrapbooking on and off for about 7-8 years now and I love it. If you are in the same boat, where do you buy your paper, embellishments, etc? I do have quite a bit but I'm always on the look out for more. I have just browsed through a members gallery on another board and have fell in love with her pages. How about you, do you have any favorite websites to look at peoples handy scrapbooking work?

I have scrapped for several years and love Disney scrapping most of all. My favorite site for viewing pages is www.twopeasinabucket.com . You should also check out the Dis scrapbooking board. Its listed under 'just for fun' and then under 'the creative community'.

Thanks so much. I have checked out twopeas before and love 'em. I'm heading over to the dis board now. But isn't Disney the best to scrapbook, there are so many papers, stickers, embellishments, etc.

I am an avid scrapbooker (or was). I have been for about 5 or 6 years. I haven't touched anything since Hurricane Katrina - our house flooded and my scrapbook room was downstairs. Some stuff was lost, some salvaged. What was salvaged is STILL in storage waiting for our repairs to be finished so that I can move it back home.
My favorite site for viewing work is twopeas - and I've shopped in their store. Though I haven't posted layouts on there in several years (most of mine are on the picturetrail site)
For buying, I use my LSS (local scrapbook store) as much as I can (support the small local business owner), but also buy online. scrapwithstyle (.com) is a good one as is scrappindeals (.com).
I am really looking forward to taking TONS of pictures at WDW and hope I'll be able to scrap them SOON.

If you're interested in Disney themed items, the Christmas ABC Distributing catalog has scrapbooks and sticker/embellishment sets. I've also purchased tons of stuff @Hobby Lobby as they often have 1/2 off sales.

No, I no longer have the patience for that type of stuff. Too much clutter for me.

The catalog is called "Fun Expressions!" Your one-stop for unlimited scrapbooking possibilities! (Above the title it says Oriental Trading Company, Inc. presents...).
I actually ordered on-line at www.orientaltrading.com by inputting the order numbers from the items in the catalog (I couldn't find all the items I wanted by looking on the website). The website does have a scrapbooking link to pull up items. The phone number is 800-228-2269 to order; customer service is 800-228-0475. The back of the catalog says Fun Expressions!20427A1. All the stuff is acid-free and lignin-free. I registered on their website and they sent me an e-mail for 15% off everything in my first order.
The items came quickly (a week before they said they would arrive). Good luck! I have an extra catalog, so if they for some very odd reason can't find the catalog, PM me and I can send it to you.

I get most of my scrapbooking supplies (paper, stickers, embellishments) at Hobby Lobby. I go when they have their 1/2 price sales. Great prices then. I also buy paper at Jo Ann Fabrics. I love the books of printed papers called The Stack. When they are on sale, you can get a book of 180 12x12 printed papers for $9.99. That is very cheap. I also used them for cardmaking.
QVC also sells some great kits and scrapbook items.

Newer to scrapbooking (about 2 years now). I started when I was getting overwhelmed with prints of DD now 3. I get most of my stuff at JoAnn Fabric or Pat Catan's (local chain I think). I also only buy new stuff for a particular project page and try to reuse or "scrap" as much as I possibly can. It's fun for me!

I've been a scrapper for years and scrapping Disney is one of my all time favorite things to do. Great excuse for more Disney trips. I look for many things at local places (AC Moore, Michael's, etc) but on line I usually hit mousememories.com and scrapyourtrip.com for a lot of embellishments, etc. BTW, although I get my supplies from many places, I only use Creative Memories scrapbooks. AND they have a new Mickey scrapbook!!

When we where in WDW in 2005 either the scrapbook store wasn't there or I missed it. When I got home I ordered a whole bunch stuff of a website can't remember the name. I plan on checking out the store at DD this time! I am a Creative Memories girl, but they don't have very much Disney stuff! Did get the new red Mickey Mouse 12x12 album, and I bought two more red Mickey Mouse 7x7 for autograph books for my girls to use this time.

Disneyshopping.com also has scrapbooking tools--I just ordered the Mickey and Minnie stencils from the outlet on clearance for $5.99 (they also had princesses and a few other items). Here's the link:

I have scrapped for years. I have found that out of everything out there Creative Memorie, by far, has the best stuff. They have a bunch of Disney packs too. I did my whole book from last years trip and used 90% Creative Memories stuff! If you know someone who sells it they could order it for you. To find someone in your area just go to creativememories.com. You just need to put in you zip and they will give you a list of consultants in your area.

I am a scrapper too. I sell creative Memories so that is what I use.
It is very sexy to write off my own scrapbooking supplies as a business expense on my taxes

We have a really big Joann's here in CT that sells TONS of Disney paper...last year I got most of the paper I used from there. This year I bought paper packs in WDW.
I pick up stickers and embellishments anywhere I find them...AC Moore, Michaels, Wal-Mart, small local craft stores, & my step-mom even found some at Ocean State Job Lot...where ever they sell them...I also look around in WDW for stuff.

IMHO- me too! I just love CM :thumbsup2 I did our 2004 album in a black window album- our family picture in front of the castle looks great on the cover. For this year's trip I'll use the Mickey Classis Album Kit and the new 12x12 Disney Coverset... and I can't wait!

Sometimes a great page only needs a fun border and your pictures. I find using alot of Disney theme paper can get to be very expensive in my Disney books. I have created borders using scrap paper and Disney stickers or clip art from the net. Here are a few I have done:

I've been scrappbooking since 1998. I have so much in the supply department that I could open my own scrapbooking store in my house! LOL
I try not to go out to scrapbook stores or craft stores. Even though I say I don't "need" anything, I always come home with something....I went to a LSS in Odessa, MO that I had not been to yet over the weekend, and I found something there that I really liked. She sold individual shaped brads for 20 cents each. I bought several - zoo shapes, sports themed (balls, bats, golf bags, etc.), pets, etc. I hate buying a whole pack of shaped brads and then ending up using 4 or 5 and having 15 or 20 leftover. I do enjoy the swaps on these boards because I can get a variety of things at a reasonable price.
Some of my favorite stores are Michael's / Joanne's (different stores but each has a 40% or 50% off coupon for one item practically every week), Hobby Lobby (which overall has the best sales in my area - right now they have paper for half price both packaged and individual sheets), Dollar Tree (which has their own line of scrapbook items - great packs of 6-8 sheets of patterened paper, stickers and lately have had brads and eyelets), Big Lots (which always has a lot of K&Company items for $1.00) and of course, several local shops.
I don't view many websites for ideas. I subscribe to Creating Keepsakes and find a lot of inspiration inside each issue. I have visited both scrapjazz.com and twopeas several times.

I have been scrapbooking for almost 4yrs. I remember when scrapbooking was first getting started when I had my Craft and Gift shop. I had a couple of the larger now companies wanting me to start a scrapbooking store.
I thought well this is'nt going to last just another fad, no way is it going to last no one is going to spend $$$$ on paper. Just goes to show you how much I know. Guess who now spends $$$ on paper and pays $4.99 for a sticker :rotfl2: Anyway wanted to say I love the borders mizzougrad91
they are fantastic.

I buy most of my supplies at joann/target. I usually buy the stack pages for my paper and then buy other stuff to spice up the pages. I also buy some things from current catalog when they hit clearance they have killer prices.

I buy from my LSS, Michaels and from Stampin' Up. I love their cardstock, alphabet stamps and wheels, embellishments and matching ribbons. I was buying so much from there that I finally became a demo so I could get a discount!

Yes, I love to scrapbook. I find it relaxing and enjoy seeing how I can create pages. Currently I am working on a book from our daughters June wedding. I began it with the shower, rehearsal dinner and now doing the wedding portion. After that book I will work on a Disney book about our daughters upcoming Disney Internship...seeing I have three trips planned to see her I should have enough to make a book. Then I will start a grandparent scrapbook. It appears there is never and end to scrapping! I get my supplies from Creative Memories, Joannes, Michael's, and any scrapbook store I drive by.
