I know when I first see the castle I get that "anxious and I can't believe I'm here right now" feeling. :thumbsup2

I get misty eyed and giddy like a child every time. My favorite moment is taking the ferry in the morning and watching the castle appear on the horizon. :wizard:

We walk into the park and always stop in the middle of main street to take it in. It says "we're here!" :woohoo: An absolutely fantastic feeling. That's when the vacation truly begins for me!

I can only imagine how it will feel :) I know that I will start crying because this trip has been so long-awaited and my 4 year old son is just SO excited. Words can't even describe.

There is no better feeling seeing the castle.. :goodvibes We always try to book Cindy's breakfast early our first day before the park really opens so that we can get a great picture when there are hardly any people in the park and the view is almost unobstructed. Just beautiful... :cloud9:

I feel magical. One of my fondest memories is staying at the Grand Floridian in the main bulding for my daughter's 4th birthday. Our room overlooked the castle and when we walked out on the balcony early in the morning the castle was lit up with purple lights. My daughter thought Cinderella lit it up for her birthday (we were going to breakfast at the castle). When we got to the castle my daughter hugged CInderella and thanked her for remembering what her favorite color was. Cinderella smiled and went along with it. It was a lovely moment.

I'm a mountian man I get the feeling seeing Space Mt as it was DD first big type coaster she got on.No matter how you arrive at MK you see the MT and the Castle.

And on Splash at night when you see both all lit up with the fireworks I know it's all worth it.

This will be our first time actually going to the MK on our arrival day. We have annual passes that expire on our 6th day during this Aug vacation. Our first day after we checkin at VWL we're heading to the MK for lunch at Tony's.

For me it's not so much the castle as it is the entire Main Street experience. Lost count of how many times I have been to Disneyland and Disneyworld yet each time I enter Main Street, hear the music, smell the smells, feel the excitement of the crowd and stare towards the castle, I get teary eyed :lovestruc

Truly magical.

MK is the first park we hit every time we go. The castle is just a sight for sore eyes!!! Every time I see it I am amazed at how beautiful it is. Also makes me happy to be at the MK. We always have to get a picture of the castle. Can never have enough of those! It is beautiful!!!

Its not a trip to WDW until I see the castle! I love it so much that as soon as I heard that my daughter was expecting my first Grandaughter I had to go and purchase her own toy castle..she is 18 months now and I'm still holding out to giving it to her until she is a bit older so she can appreciate it ....the Castle makes the trip magical for me EVERY time!! princess: princess: :joker:

The castle makes the trip real. It is the sign that says "You are Here!" We can't wait to see it in August.

My DD will ask if Cinderella is home. princess:

I get butterflies in my stomach and an instant calm comes over me. I can feel myself grinning from ear-to-ear until my face hurts! Nothing can compare EXCEPT {{{HUGS}}} from my 2 grandsons. It's magical!

It gives you a feeling like "Wow, Im really here. Its going to be an awsome day." Then seeing the castle turning different colors at night with the fireworks just makes your Disney Vacation seem even better! :teeth:

Awesome
Teary-eyed
My heart races a bit
Some goose-bumps come up on my arms

Things feel perfect; like I am right where I am suppose to be at that moment in time.

my dd5 (at the time) wet herself the first time she saw the Castle! It was at night and we took the monorail from Polynesian to CR, she saw it and was speechless! Fortunately I was still in the habit of carrying extra clothes!

I used to always tease my Mama about being so emotional when I was growing up. We took my 2 boys(3 and 2 at the time) last year for the first time. At first sight of the castle, the tears became uncontrollable. Never say never and you will become like your Mom the older you get.

:cloud9: Nothing beats the feeling of that early morning, first glimse, standing there in the middle of Main Street, the sunlight not yet bathing you, but fully illuminating Cinderella's Castle...gettin' kinda misty here...

Every year, everytime as we are walking in toward the castle, on go the sunglasses (sunny or not) as DD looks over, puts her arm around me and says "it's ok mom, your such a softheart." Love at first sight and happy tears every time. It's dejavu over and over again every year...

My dh made fun of me for crying when my DD saw the castle for the first time. I will remember that my whole life. She LOVED it!
