During our December trip, the one day of Park touring that doesn't allow us to go back to the hotel for a rest is MGM.

We currently have lunch reservations at Sci Fi, at 11, which DH, DD and myself remember-actually not the food so much but the environment, and Dinner Reservations for Fantasmic Pkg. at 4.

I'm trying to decide whether we should just go to Sci Fi, which is fun (at least in terms of theming) or take a break from the park and take the ferry over to the Beach Club and Beach & Cream (who's food I do remember fondly). If we went to Beaches I was thinking we could also maybe take out one of those little boats...

Well lets just say I'm struggling with this and seeking all opinions... :confused3

Oh must does at MGM-TOT, RnRC, Playhouse Disney and Fantasmic and maybe LMA, GMR and Walt Disney-OM's Dream

Thanks,

Patricia

It depends on if you want that break in there or not. Restaurant-wise I would choose Beaches & Cream - that's an easy one!

Also, if you walk across the street from where the Dolphin is (easy walk from Beach Club) there is Fantasia Gardens mini-golf. (If you were looking for other activities while taking a break.)

B&C is so very small and bound to be crowded at lunchtime. I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember them taking ADRs. We waited almost an hour to be seated the last time we visited (July, 2004). For me, the menu was not worthy of the wait. I'd go with the Sci Fi.
