How many hours did you (or will you) have a photographer for your custom wedding...since many charge by certain amount of hours.
I was thinking 6 or 8. Maybe 2 hours before the ceremony, 1 hour for ceremony, 1 hour for posed pics, 4 hours for reception (we most likely won't have a dessert party). Sound good, or need more or less?

We used Disney... we did the 6 hour package and added an additional hour. we had a 12noon ceremony, so we started with the photographer at 10:30, and he stayed until 5:30 (through the cake cutting) our reception ended at 6pm.

I was confused about this as well. I am having Randy as my photographer and he set up a time line for me. He is coming at 8:30 (our ceremony is at 10) and he said he would stay until 3:30ish. It's for about 7 hours but this can be flexible. We are not having a dessert party or anything after. I would ask your photographer about this, b/c they seem to know a lot more than we do! Good luck.

I have Randy also and I chose a package which has "unlimited" time. Now what that mean exactly I don't know :rotfl: but I think it depends if you want shots of you getting ready or not and wether you and dh2b are seeing each other before the ceremony. I think 8 hours is more than enough. I probably will have ten just because I am paying for it and I would love some getting ready shots! I hope this helps.

we had randy for like 11 hours from 10am to about 9:20pm when illuminations ended. we had such a nice mix of photos, randy was great to work with.
