We are going to Disneyland with some friends, one of which is in the Navy. THey have offered to purchase our tickets at the discounted Military rate, however, they are only going to be at DL on the first 2 days of our 4 day stay. Can we use the tickets without someone with a military ID? Do they ask to check your ID every time you enter the park?

Also, we are going on the trip for my daughter's 3rd birthday. Her birthday falls in the middle of the trip. Do I just purchase a ticket for the remaining days after her birthday? Do you think I need to pay for the day of her actual birthday if she is not "officially" 3 until evening?

Thanks,
Melissa

You wont have a problem using the military tickets. They dont ask for military ID at the gate. The 3 year old is a personal call on your part. The honest thing to do would be to buy a ticket for her for the day of and after her birthday. I honestly dont know if I would bother. I know I'll probably get flamed for that. If you were going after her birthday, and every day of the trip was after she was 3 I would probably say to buy a ticket.

From what I have seen on other boards.. They usuaslly don't make you pay for the days after the birthday. Usually if they are 2 it is for the entire stay..

I wouldn't flame you for that..

I wouldn't buy her a ticket. It's not like you are trying to be dishonest and sneak a 3.5 year old in as a 2 year old.
