Does OKW and Vero have internet

My son will be working a little from his laptop while on vacation. Is there any internet available? If so does it cost?

OKW has high speed service, just like all WDW resorts. It is $10 per 24 hour connection. If your provider has a local dial up number, you could also use dialup. 35cents per call for members, 75 cents for non-members.

I don't know for sure about Vero.

OKW had LAN or it did last time I stayed there. It was like a $10.00 per day charge.

Word to the wise. Make sure your spyware, firwall, and antivirus software are up and running before logging on to the network. We were at WLV last year and I had not been using the laptop we had with us for Internet so I did not have my protection on. Needless to say my system got hammered with so may bugs that I ended up having to reformat my hard drive. I was so mad at mysef for being so stupid, but we live and we learn.

As of early June, VB did not have high-speed internet.

If that hasn't changed, your son can use his laptop with a dial-up connection from the room/villa, or you can pay for access to the computer they've set up in the lobby for guest use. The cost when we were there was $5 for 30 minutes.
