I have never ordered any but am considering doing this when we go over this Christmas. I was referred to this website and it looks like this is what I am going to do :

We went to WDW around Christmas last year. I love Christmas and wanted to decorate the room as much as I could. I went to Michaels Craft Store and bought a small tree that fit on top of the fridge, lights, and snow flakes to decorate it. I brought some extras lights to string around the room and window clings. It all fit into our suit case and then I left the tree behind with a note attached for mousekeeping. It did not cost a furtune and added that extra touch to our room.

Such a wonderful idea! We aren't going during Christmas, but if we did I would definitly want to do something like this!

To the other posters - please take pics and post them to share! Id LOVE to see your festive rooms!

I also bought a small tree last year (2 ft or so for about $10 I think at Target?) and boxed it up with a string of lights, some tiny ornaments and a few presents (already wrapped from Santa), then shipped that box to our hotel. It was a great surprise for the kids to have a tree to decorate on Christmas Eve, and we all enjoyed the lights every evening. It was also nice to have a few presents from Santa already taken care of. We left the tree in the room, but used the box to ship a bunch of our mousesurplus purchases home at the end of the trip. I'd do this again in a heartbeat-it was so convenient, and added a very festive touch to our room.

I bought the Winnie the Pooh Christmas tree on clearance at Lowe's last year for $5. It is about 2 ft tall with 6 (?) ornaments and a tree topper. I also have a small string of lights to put on it and will pack it our suitcase (the box is very narrow). If there's room, I'll bring it back, if not it was only $5...

I am also bringing Winnie the Pooh Christmas window clings, tinsel garland and a big red velvet bow to decorate our door. (Again, more day-after-Christmas-clearance finds from last winter).
