Just got back from a 6 day trip.
We reserved a full size using Emerald Aisle service. Picked up the car at about 9:00 am on Wednesday. We got a Grand Caravan with approx 9,000 miles on it - very nice. Girl at the booth was a little slow - but no big deal. She asked for BV Internet Coupon. Return was very fast. I would say this service (based on this first experience) is as good as Avis Preferred and was very convenient.
When we got there there were 4 minivans (2 Dodge, 1 Chevy, 1 Pontiak) on the aisle. Other full and mid size. No SUV's. $137, including taxes, for a minivan for six days - can't beat that :).
