Washing all done, the following week Andy, Lucy and I went off for some R&R in Fuerteventura :sunny: . Kara stayed at home to look after the animals.

June 17th Kara and I had a sponsored half marathon midnight walk for our local hospice – we came in joint first in a time of 2 hours 55 minutes and raised £1000! :banana:

July 13th Kara flew to Palma, Majorca with BF for a long weekend away to celebrate her 21st birthday – she said she needed a rest after Florida! :rotfl:

Andy, Lucy and I sat round the dining room table contemplating the Barbados holiday Xmas 2007 which Andy had booked whilst we were in Florida….

“Are we all looking forward to Barbados” I ask

“I would rather go swimming with Dolphins” says Lucy

“A beach is a beach” says Andy

Needless to say I didn’t have to ask twice, on the phone to Virgin, to alter it to Florida October 2007 – CSR and HRH again. :thumbsup2

The GirlsonTour holiday achieved everything and more than I could have wished for. Not once did we have a cross word or argument. We all walked at the same pace, needed food at the same time and knew when we had all had enough!

If I die tomorrow, heaven forbid, I will die happy in the knowledge that this holiday bridged the 10 year age gap between Lucy and Kara…….bringing them closer together as sisters and hopefully a time that they will both never forget. I know that I won’t.

I would like to thank you all for reading my first (and probably only) trip report; your comments have spurred me onto finishing it. When I began typing this I hadn’t realised what hard work it would be! :grouphug:

Quick mention also goes to the IT department at work, who scanned the water park photos and to Lucy, who works with me on the reception desk – she has constantly encourage me by reading my trip reports (in works time of course!) and saying that she was enjoying them when I know she really didn't have a clue what i was on about half the time!!! Good luck with the birth of your first child. :woohoo:

Your superb reports have inspired me to finish and post my own reports from my holiday last year! I know it will be late but I want to do it so I have the memories down in text.
