We spent one night here last March before switching to the Grand Californian. It is an okay place. The room was decent size and average decore. It has no personality or atmosphere. The windows and walls were fairly thin and we could here all the sounds out in the parkinglot. It is an old two story motel that has been remodeled numerous times. It's location is excellent though and can't be beat.

Yes I agree with dannzz - it's a budget motel and you get more (the location) then what you pay for. I would stay there again, just because we can walk across the street to the park, no waiting for a bus. The restaurants are ALL close by with lot's of selection. Hopefully all the road construction is complete, if not the road blocks are a pain, but if you're not driving - you don't care. Just ask for a room far from the road and the elevators/stairs - for quiet.
Enjoy!

After contacting the hotel, and being treated VERY rudely. I will never stay at that hotel. It took me two days to even be able to cancel the reservation because of how rude they were.

I'm sorry :( you had a bad experience with that motel. Now that I think about it - every hotel on Harbor Blvd, (near DL) that we have stayed at have poor customer service (not very friendly) and we've going since 1990, sometimes several times a year. The only motel/hotel that we have stayed at repeatedly (at the budget price) has been the Tropicana Inn & Suites. I guess you have to stay at a 3 or 4 **** hotel to get decent service.
Best of luck on your next trip.
