SJCSUZY's website has been updated with a new version of the software, and point charts are now available for DVC resorts through 2003. The current version is 2.4 and adds color to the vacation planning page. If you forgot or lost the link, here it is.;

Brilliant! Disney should buy this program for their website. It is so much better than the one they offer! Thanks!!:D

Thanks, we are new members and I am grateful to have this software. It will help me keep up with my current points, and help me think about what I could do if I just owned a "few" more.

Is there any way to download the updated version without blowing away what you already have saved in the old version? Such as your contract #, points, trips planned, etc?
Every time we download a new version we lose everything we had put in before. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.:confused:

If you install it to the same directory as your old installation, your data will remain intact. It will not be lost. The installation overrights files, yes, but your data is stored in seperate files that are not over written by the installation.

That's what we did, download it to the same directory as the old installation, but now all our info is gone. I don't know what I did wrong. We have it on our C drive and that's where we downloaded it to and when we opened it up none of our info is there.:confused: The same thing happened the last time we downloaded the newer version. Any more hints?

dvc-bwv,
Try this...
In the directory that you have the program in, there should be a bunch of files with the extension of ".DVC" I suggest that you copy those files to someplace "safe", then install the new version, then copy those "safe" files in with the new version. That should be a valid workaround!
Are you sure the program didn't get installed into a different place, as it isn't designed to overwrite the existing files?
