We are thinking about going to the LA Nouba Cirque Du Solell show and just wondering if it is good. :thumbsup2

The closest thing I've seen, is the Cirque de Mer show at Sea World in 2001. It was so much better than I expected. I was thinking "Circus" But its not like that. The show at Sea World, was included with admission, so I wasen't out any money. :goodvibes

This year we had the honor of being on the "Premium Plan" and we had our reservations for the Cirque six months in advance. The show was awesome; so much to see that at times it was hard to concentrate on any one happening going on. We will be on the plan again next year, and we will be seeing the Cirque.

We have Delerium this weekend and I really wanted to go but just spent to much on disney this year ( DL 05 ,WDW 05 , DVC 05 ,WDW 06 3 trips planned) so We need to pay down our bill and this is a different type of Cirque so no real big deal.

However e still almost did La Nouba on our June trip as we have seen it and I know DM would have liked to see it.

EEYORE: How can you possibly come to that decision "not worth it" without ever seeing it? :confused3

LA NOUBA and all the CIRQUE's are FABULOUS! My family has seen La Nouba 5 times since 2000! It is AMAZING. We just keep going back and back. We have been to Vegas and seen "O", we have been to Boston to Suffolk Downs and seen "Quidam" and "Varieka" and we will see "Delirium" on Friday night in Worcester, MA. I tune in the BRAVO Channel everytime they run the Cirque series! I have most of their performances on DVD.

ALL IN ALL, these shows are RIVETING. :thumbsup2

Please go see at least one Cirque and let us know what you really think!

Been to see it four times!!! Loved it each time! I would highly recommend it.

If you've never seen a Cirque show live - you really should experience it. It's not a circus - it's an experience!!

Besides, La Nouba is one of the least expensive Cirque "house" shows. You can't beat it :cool1:

I have never been. We have reservations for next week. My best friend has been twice. She and others I know absolutely love it, and have told me that there isn't really a bad seat in the house. I am looking forward to seeing it for the first time.

My husband and I did this last October on a no kids trip. We received a discount being AP holders. We both enjoyed it very much. The only thing was the couple whom sat behind us talked the entire time. Don't get it, why spend all the money talk the whole show? Anyway, I would love to take the kids but it is just too much money for us. I hope one day we can afford to take them too. :sunny:

I took my DH two years ago for a surprise on his birthday. We were also with our ds (4) and ds(3) and my dm. I wasn't sure how everyone would like it when I booked the show and I was concerned that it was a little expensive for our budget. Everyone LOVED the performance and my ds(now 6) STILL talks about it 2 years later!!
