What are our chances?

What do you think are our chances of being able to rent points and get a reservation for December 18-21? I know this is right before holiday season at the Disney Resorts, but I have no experience with the Vacation Club. Thanks guys!!

That time of year is extremely popular with DVC owners, and my guess is you will have a difficult time getting into either of those two resorts at that time. I would think that each is fully booked with a waiting list that would snap up any cancellations.

You might want to consider other DVC resorts, though they could well be booked up too. Generally, all of December is booked pretty solid by the end of the preceding January.

If someone has a Ressie and wants to sell that then it might be .

But we called a few days ago just to check ( we have SSR 18th-22nd) to do another resort and they only had a studio at SSR & OKW for a day or two and nothing for for the others.

But good luck you never know as people that can't rent ( or sell on E-bay) those dates they may start to cancel to avoid holding or loss of points all together.

We got a room a couple of weeks ago at BWV for December 23rd with no problems.
But probably because it is not a Sun-Thurs.

Slim to none. You have to plan your trip much earlier especially if you want BCV or BWV.

slightly higher than 0% chance (lightening hits), significantly less than a 1% chance. You needed to look for this reservation seven months ago so you could find an owner willing to book it right when the window opened.
