DIS-CON Lurkers

well with only 30 days left before we go, I would like to know how many "Lurkers" we have on this Board who are going to attend DIS-CON.

It will be great to meet some of the folks who haven't been regular posters.

SO Lurkers come out just for this one thread..then you can hide again :D

I'm a semi-lurker. I read daily and post some. I've had to cancel my DIS-CON package, but if my health permits we will still try to make some of the mini-meets. Hoping to meet many of you.

My name is Elaine and I am a true lurker on these boards. I have visited WDW several times including a few solo trips (I will be at DIS Con solo). I love Disney so much that I have a part time job at the Disney Store to help feed and pay for my addiction! I look forward to meeting many new friends on this trip.

Everybody is being real rowdy on the board but I'll bet that on the 27th and the 28th that no one will want to talk to anybody else first and it will be real quiet. It won't last long because we will be at WDW.

I''m a Dis-Con wanna be, does that count, I lurk here all the time. We are going to be there at the same time, unfortunatly, I could not convince my DH to take part in DisCon, we had this trip planed for almost a year now and his Dsis and her husband are joining us, they could not aford it and DH said NO:( However, I do hope to at least see some of you, as we will be at the beachclub, actually I am hoping that DH sees you all having such a great time that maybe there will be next year, I am working on that already;) Any way, I just wanted to say that you guys are great. It sounds like you are going to have a ball!

Please try to join us for some of the mini-meets. I am also a DIS-CON wanna be. We aren't arriving until late on Nov 30th... I just couldn't justify getting the events package if I was only going to be able to take part in a few things. SO I am planning on as many of the mini meets as possible. :):) Please try to join in the fun.

Another mostly lurker here. :) Sheesh, I can barely keep up with the CB and the cruise board! ;) But I do read here all the time -- just never have time to post. I was hoping to make at least 1 or 2 of the mini-meets, but now with the hour cutbacks seriously messing with our itinerary, we're barely going to have time to do what we want to do at the parks. But I'll still have my green ribbons on! And if you're at DxL and see a little Christmas tree in the window of a room in building 14 of AB, stop and say hi. :)

Well, I am a lurker on this board. I'm pretty much a lurker on all the boards anymore. Just don't have much time to post these days. Anyhoo, I was going to dis-con but cancelled last month :( We thought we weren't going to make the trip this year so I cancelled right before the last payment was due. I dragged it out to the last minuet hoping things would turn around. Well, of course a week after I cancelled things did turn around and we are able to make this trip! Woo Hoo! But no dis-con for us :( We are going to make it to some of the mini meets though! I'm so excited!! We start the drive to Florida in 20 days!!:bounce: :bounce:

I am a true Dis-Con "wannabe" and with just a few posts, I suppose I also qualify as a lurker.

But isn't it nice of you all to be so welcoming? I will be in WDW from 11/23 to 12/1 and though I am not participating in the convention, I do hope to attend some mini-meets. I will be with my brother, sil and sil's sister and bil (not as complicated as it sounds!)

I truly hope to bump into some of you during our stay. There are so many kind people on these boards, all loaded with tons of great information!

I wish everyone a great vacation if I don't get the chance to say "hey" in person.

Hi, just started considering attending DIS-CON, so I'm trying to accumulate as much info as possible. Is it too late to sign up? Also, does anyone have an up-to-the-minute schedule for the week (official and unofficial mini meets)? I will be attending solo ~ so I'd like to see how many things there are to participate in!

We are going to WDW for our first on-site trip 11/29-12/3.

Is the french Island desert party a "paid" event?

Luvdsny, we are having dinner at LTT at 6pm, but maybe I can stroll by the porch at CP at 5:30!

I'd probably consider myself a semi-lurker, since I don't post nearly as much as many of you do and I'm checking these boards out everytime I'm online.

We'll be staying at the Swan from 11/29-12/2 and dropping by DATW II! Looking forward to it.
