Hey guys!
Wednesday has come and gone, and I survived it!! barely!
Work was a PITA....some things/people never change.
DH & I had a MAJOR meeting of the minds with DS. He's not doing the homework...AGAIN!!! I talked to his math teacher today....and plan on talking to the rest of his teachers tomorrow. Needless to say....DS is not a happy camper tonight. oh well!!
So, my food has sucked for the past few months, and excersize has been non-existant....now what? Time to re-evaluate the situation! I'll let you know what the future holds.
Talk to ya soon!

Hey guys....I went shopping tonight...and I'm ALMOST finished!!!:woohoo:
Actually, I'm considering something for my DD....let me know what you think.

I thought it was kinda neat...:confused3
Other than that, it's pretty much a Hannah Montana Christmas for DD!
Ok....work is good, food sucks and excersize is still missing in action!
Have a great evening!

Hey girl. That knitting machine looks cool! I say go for it. :thumbsup2
I think we need a challenge for the new year. Whaddya say? :confused3 I won't be working out until mid-Jan, but I can certainly start eating better. :rolleyes1
Once you're done with your Christmas preparations, please come here and help me!!

The knitting machine is cool! I always wanted one. Actually, even as an adult I wanted one of those big ones. I havent thought about that in a while. I think I will google it!
You could get her those big plastic knitting needles for her too. You use really thick yarn and its really easy. ( I used as a kid)

Hey, Marie! Glad to see you guys are getting settled back in!
The knitting machine is neat. My grandma actually bought herself one last year :confused3 I think she was jealous because I taught myself to knit and she didn't know how to :rolleyes1 Anyway, it is pretty cool! I think your DD will enjoy it.
on the food and exercise front... I may not be a good influence at this point. I have decided to just try not to gain between now and Jan. 1st. I will pick back up then. There is just too much going on right now and too many Yummy snacks tempting me :sad2: So, at any rate, try not to be too hard on yourself during the holidays! You guys moved on top of everything else, so just take it day by day and do what you can:santa:
Take care and have a happy holiday season!!

I am up for thaqt challenge. My food choices have been dismal.
The knitting machine looks cool. I thought about it for my dd, but decided on a sewing machine instead.
Take care,

hey guys~hope everyone is doing good!
things here are typical....work, work, work, pay bills, shop, eat, eat, eat, oh....and sleep every now and then. last night was rough....i sat down and paid some bills....it sucked BAD!! ya'll would not believe how much money we went through during this move!! :scared1:  it's gonna take some time, but we will overcome!! (i'm just gonna have to start taking a sleeping pill!!)
ok...so i ordered the knitting machine...it should be delivered tomorrow...i'm gonna play with it first. :thumbsup2 other than that...I'm done shopping!! If it hasn't been purchased, it's not gonna be purchased!! now if i could get someone to come wrap the stuff, then we'd be doing really good!!
work has been ok...learning a new job is always stressful. i'm not worried about it right now...it's stuff i've done before, just at different places, and quite some time ago.
ok...so what else is going on?.....tomorrow is our christmas luncheon at work...it's being catered...so that should be nice....then friday we are doing our "candle exchange"...yeah...they chose candles this year because one of the women didn't put up a tree....whatever.:confused3
Then next Thursday my family will start arriving. there will be 14 of us total, having christmas at my house. :thumbsup2 :headache: :woohoo: :sad2:
my head is hurting tonight....lack of sleep....i'll check in with ya'll later in the week....and i'll also try to get to everyone's journals....sorry i've been slacking lately.

Hey Marie,
I hope your head is feeling a bit better tonight. Lack of sleep can give me a doozy of a migraine.
Moving is incredibly expensive. You will get everything straightened out soon.
I'd love to come wrap your presents or you. I wish I was closer.
Get some rest.

Hey guys....I'm stressing out here!!:headache: :scared:
My WHOLE family is in town right now! I do pretty good when it's one group at a time...but the whole gang gets my nerves in a tizzy! There's 14 of us total, and making plans is a total CLUSTER****!! Yesterday we were supposed to go downtown, but wound up at the mall...today they want to go to the resale stores and the antique shops, then come back do our christmas exchange and then have me do family pictures!! It's really no problem to do all that, but getting 14 people organized....hell, it's not just getting 14 people organized...it's getting THESE 14 people organized!! No one can agree on anything!! It really drives me nuts!!
Pictures are going to be interesting. Yesterday was my dad's b-day....we got him a cake and had all the grandkids gather around him for a picture. One of the girls didn't want to get in the picture, then stood there and made faces the whole time. I finally told her if she couldn't smile, then to get out of the shot. Well, her mother (Sis#2) snapped at me for talking to her "precious" child that way and I said..."maybe if she would realize that this picture isn't about her and stop being a PITA, I wouldn't have to talk to her that way, but every shot I've taken, she's making a stupid face." Sis#2 told her daughter to knock it off. Whatever....like i said....today should be interesting.
Sisters will be gone on Sunday, and mom & dad won't leave until Monday...at least I'll get a little quiet time w/ mom & dad.
Ok....have a happy, safe new year ya'll! Nothing going on here....gonna stay home and take down decorations.
Later!

Hello there!! Yes....I survived....but barely!!
The family has come and gone, and for the most part...it was fun! It started out a little rough, but then things came together. Friday was running errands, groceries and the mall, Saturday was the zoo, Christmas steaks & potatoes..(they were wonderful!!) and the gift exchange....Saturday night was family pictures....good thing the alcohol was free flowing!! They turned out ok....I wish i had done some things differently...different poses...but other than that, they were ok. Sunday most of the adults (minus dad) went downtown to Beale Street...it was alot of fun!! No drinking, (heck, it was a sunday afternoon) but good people watching, and we went to one of the resturants for lunch..good food!
Anyway, everyone left early Monday morning, and I went to work to get some rest!
Last night we took the kids to a place called The Incredible Pizza Place...it's like Chuckie Cheese on crack!! the place was pretty cool...lots of cool games, mini golf, mini bowling, go-cart races, bumper cars.....plenty to do...got home around 9, AFTER almost getting iinto 2 car accidents!! Amature night in full force around here!!
Ok...gonna go finish taking down the decorations....Hope ya'll had a good new year!!

Exercise??
Eating Healthy??
Could someone please define these two statements?
I no longer own a scale, and am honestly afraid to find out how much I weigh right now. I do know that I feel miserable, and I do know that I have to make some changes in my eating. I've done this so many times....it's really getting old! Why can't someone just pay to have my jaw wired shut or liposuction? I'm honestly tired of the constant battle.
i'll be back....i just have to get my house, my bills, my job, and my life back in order.
love ya'll

Good one Linda!!
Ok ladies....I did it....I didn't want to....but I had too. The depression was getting the better of me! I figure, the holidays are over...the family is gone...the job is....hell (but that's going to get better soon)...the stress level needs to be brought back under control....along with my eating soooooooo.............
I went back to my old friend Jenny today! Yep....Jenny Craig is again my friend! I know it worked for me before, I just have to follow through with it AND NOT MOVE TO ANOTHER FRICKING STATE THIS TIME!! So....here we are...January 8th, 2008 and I weigh............................................. .................................
157.4!!!
Not as bad as I thought it would be, but it's still a pretty substantial gain. When we moved in July I was at 143.0 (?)...so i've gained roughly 15 pounds. :sad2: :guilty: in 5 months....that's 3 lbs a month. (see...I can do simple math!!!:teacher: )
Ok...so now the plan...I've got my food for the week....and I've got two working legs...no reason I can't get up and go for a 2 mile walk in the morning...RIGHT??!! Also...I have to go to Sams and get my case of water to keep at work. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I actually drank a full bottle/glass of water!! Yep...been hoisting down enough coke and rum to make Jack Sparrow proud!!pirate:
So...starting tomorrow....back on JC...back on at least 80 oz of water a day....and back to 2 mile powerwalks...in other words.....BACK ON TRACK....AND STAYING THERE THIS TIME!!!
Stick with me guys....this is the only way I know how to do it!
later guys....i have one night of freedom left....and one can of coke in the fridge..... :thumbsup2

yesterday was all Jenny....today...not so much! :confused3
The water intake is up from 0 to 40 oz....the exercise is still at 0.
DH is on nights for 3 weeks, and it's all I can do to get dinner, showers and homework done before I collapse! I honestly don't know how single parents do it....they have ALL my respect!
I'll try to do better....for some reason...my heart really isn't into it....what the hell is wrong with me??

You got this, girl. You can do it. I understand how hard it is to get back on track, believe me. :headache: But you can totally do it. Stick with the JC for a week or two before adding in the walks. I think doing too much too quickly is over whelming.
Hang in there!

Hey guys...thanks for checking on me! JC is not going as well as I'd planned....photo shoot yesterday...photo shoot tonight....and dinner out tomorrow regarding a photo shoot! AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!! And no...I'm not getting nearly enough water in...but at least I'm not getting any sweet tea or cokes either!! (of course, excersize is no where to be seen right now either!)
I hope that when DH gets off the night shift that we can start walking again, otherwise I may have to invest in a treadmill! We'll see what happens.
Linda~thanks for asking! The kids are doing great! DS is still getting adjusted to a REAL Jr. High...and he is taking trumpet lessons...(but told me he'd rather learn guitar!! one thing at a time grasshopper!!) DD is still the social butterfly...she fell right back into where she left off...like she'd only been gone a week on vacation! The child kills me sometimes!!
Being back in the house is the best thing ever!!! Now if it would stay clean.....:cloud9:

 Marie,
When life is super busy for me, I find that baby steps work well...Maybe making one goal per week. For example, one week my goal might be to drink 64 ounces of water a day or to get at least 10 minutes of exercise in. With all that you have going on right now, it can be very hard to fit healthy living in. If you do it a little bit at a time, you'll be back on program before you know it. You CAN do it, Marie!!!:cheer2:
Hope you have a great week ahead.:goodvibes Take good care of you!
kmp1191
01-16-2008, 06:15 AM
I think you're right.....babysteps are in order. My heart has just NOT been in it this time! I've only been drinking about 20 oz of water a day! I'm going to stop on my way to work and get a case at Sams....that really helped last time. Also, I think I'm going to do this on my own....not w/ JC. I know what to eat and what not to eat....this is the battle that I have w/ myselft EVERY FRICKING DAY!!
I'm also going to start logging my food. I have a little notebook that I'll stick in my purse and I will start keeping track....TODAY.
As far as excercise goes....I'm going to start pricing treadmills and/or elipitcals. Let me know which one YOU prefer and which one gives you the better workout. No, I don't have the money to buy one right now, but I also don't have the money for a new wardrobe either!!
Ok...off to start the day!! WISH me luck...the journey starts NOW!!
marie
kimwim8
01-17-2008, 12:17 PM
You can definitely do this, girl. Chug that water at the end of the day, if you must....but get it in!!
For me, I used to own an eliptical, but my toes were always going numb if I was on it for longer than 15 mins. I prefer walking or running on the treadmill or outside to the eliptical - but that's just me. The eliptical is supposedly easier on the joints than running (on any surface).
Good luck girl! :thumbsup2
kmp1191
01-17-2008, 06:39 PM
I would LOVE to start running again....(wait for it...you know there's gonna be an excuse!!)....but when??!! I think I'm going to look into a treadmill....just more useful for my family....me, DH & DS can all use it. Anyway, I drank 3 16 oz bottles of water today!!! That's the most in 5 months!! :thumbsup2 I also bought some hard candy to suck on during the day to keep me from munching. Root Beer Barrels....3=70 calories...not too bad. I want to get some hard lemon candy, but they didn't have the good ones.
Ok...I'm bummed tonight. My 20 year class reunion is next weekend and I can't go. Just not in the budget for a weekend away. I'm ok with not losing any weight before going, I would just like to go and see the old crew. Oh well....maybe they'll have a 25?
Ok...I brought some work home, so I"m gonna knock that out, then pay some bills, then maybe have a glass of wine...fun night huh?
later taters!

Hey Marie,
I'll add my .02. I prefer an elliptical, bt for a family, a treadmill makes more sense. They are also a bit cheaper.
Great job getting back into the swing of things. If you have trouble getting your water in, consider drinking it through a straw. Without the straw, I can't drink much, but I can put it away with the straw.
Have a good weekend,
Beth

Sorry about the reunion marie, thats a bummer.
As far as treadill versu elliptical goes, I absolutely love the ellipticalls at the gym, but to buy one that is similar to those is really expensive. I think you can probably find a good treadmill for a better price. Make sure you actually run on it first tho, some are pretty narrow.
Have a nice weekend!

Thanks for the advice guys! I'm going to talk to my neighbor that bought my treadmill back in July and see if she uses it...and if she wants to sell it back to me. (DH said that would be rude, but if she doesn't use it, then I want it!! Oh, and I don't care about being rude...her husband stands outside every night around 9 pm smoking a joint....2 houses from a NARCOTIC COP!! DH told him to knock it off last week, so we'll see what happens.)
Ok...also...DH and I talked about it, and I'm going to do some research on the AB Lounger thing. If you have one... let me know what you think.
Another thing that's been on my mind...I'm thinking of purchasing some lighting equipment, and some backdrops, and doing the photography on my own. Still shooting with photog boss when absolutely necessary, but doing my own thing more. Still not sure....
Ok....goal for this week.....WATER WATER WATER.

First, photo thing is an excellent idea. I say go for it.
Ablounger, I have one. I know this will sound stupid coming from a fatty, but they do work. Its difficult to comprehend my level of laziness, but I have one at the end of my bed. You know, so I can do it and watch tv. Anyway, fact is, I am too fat for it to do much for me now, but I absolutely think they help, back doesnt hurt, etc.
I think you may as well ask about the treadmill, who would it hurt? Heck they may need some cash, you know, to get some weed.:lmao:
Well, now that that is all settled, have a good week!

I'm really putting the figures together to see how much it'll cost me....looks like less than $1000.00....plus I already have 2 "models" wanting me to shoot them for my portfolio. :thumbsup2

Working on tax stuff...talk to ya'll later!!

Hey, Marie!
I agree that it can't hurt to ask about the treadmill. The worst she can say is I use it and you can't have it, but who knows. If she's not using it it could be a win-win :thumbsup2
I think doing your own photography is a good idea also. Do you think your photog boss will be upset/offended by you branching out? Not that it should stop you, just curious how it might affect the ability to drum up business. If the cost of the equipment is less than $1000, then you don't have too much to lose either. I say go for it! :cheer2:
Not sure about the ab lounger.. don't know anyone who has one. My parents just bought the bean though. I thought that was funny. I'm gonna have to go check it out though :thumbsup2
SO, when you gonna start eating that Jenny Craig food you've got sitting in the fridge?:goodvibes

Thanks again for the advice guys!! I'm still weighing out my options.
Have you ever had one of those days that you just couldn't wait for it to be over? Here's my day in a nutshell:
1)TOM 7 days early and extreeeeeemly unhappy!
2)Parent teacher meeting w/ DS's teachers - assignments not turned in, not paying attention in class, forged my name on a detention slip....almost wound up suspended.
3)Work.....that alone says it all!
4)TOM.....oh....I already said that.....but I'm putting it on here again because it was all I could do to stay upright today!
5) Heath Ledger died....    (sorry, I'm a BIG fan...he's right up there with Bon Jovi in my book)
Ok...after all that, and assisting DS with his homework until 9:20 tonight...I'm going to bed.

For those of you that didn't already know this, I come from a farming family. Dairy farm for 30+ years, then the dr. told dad that due to his severe asthma and heart condition, the cows had to go. We were also grain famers. Corn, beans, hay for the cattle etc. After the cows left, dad continued the grain crops, and took up with birds....quail & quail eggs for the asian markets, turkeys, pheasant...etc. Well...now you get the picture.
Tonight my sister in Alabama calls and tells me that all of the tractors and equiptment are gone. The equipment shed caught fire and it's all gone. The shed is about 50 feet from the barn where the birds are housed, but it didn't spread...thank god for the snow/cold and wind in the opposite direction! Anyway....after talking to sis, I called mom....who was somewhat hysterical. The dogs were barking and dad went outside to tell them to shut up when he saw something burning. He walked out to the yard, and mom went out on the deck...he hollered for her to call 911....she gets the phone...runs to the middle of the yard....(football field or less from the shed)....and stuff starts exploding....(tractors=gas/diesel+BIG rubber tires).
Thank god my parents are smart enough to know when not to try to put out fires by themselves!! I can't even think about that. Anyway....fire departments from 3 different towns, ambulance, police, and neighbors from 5+miles all converge on the farm. They sprayed down the barn, but had to turn off the electricity...(now dad may lose 100+new chicks because of the incubator)(but the barn didn't catch fire!)
All of the tractors were in that building. You can't imagine how much money we are talking. Yes, they are insured....and no one was hurt...so I'm extremely grateful....but to know how my parents are feeling right now is killing me. I worked on that farm for 22 years...my dad for 60+! I drove every tractor in that shed....hell, i learned how to drive them before I could a car....(I was 11!!)
So....I've been crying most of the night....I'm on my second glass of wine....and I am going to try to convice DH to let me go home this weekend. Talk about being homesick right now....crap.

Yep....going home tomorrow. DH understands how I am w/ my family...he wants to go too, but has to work Fri nite. Also, the kids are staying home. DD is spending the weekend w/ a friend, and DS is fine by himself for a few hours. The neighbor will check on him.
Talked to mom several times today....they are doing ok. Just really heartbroken over the whole thing. She got bundled up 3 times to go out and take pictures, but couldn't. She'd get too upset. Guess who is going to freeze her @$$ off doing it??!!
So....on to better news....this weekend also happens to be my reunion. I'm going to go on Friday nite...then play it by ear on Saturday. I'm excited, but I wish DH were going too. I don't like going to these types of things without him. Anyway, I'm anxious to see MOST of the people. I'll let you know how it goes. (Now I wish I'd stuck to the diet!!)
ALSO....my best friend from Chicago had her baby last night!! So...I'm going to kill 3 birds w/ one stone this weekend! Gonna be exhausting, but that's ok.....it'll be worth it!
Ok...I'm gonna go get some clothes together and get to bed early!!
I'll be in touch...or if you have my cell number...feel free to call!

 Oh, Marie! I'm so sorry to hear about your parent's fire. I can only begin to imagine what they are feeling right now! I'm so glad you will be able to go and be with them.
My parents had a fire about 4 years ago in their workshop behind the house. It actually caught part of the house on fire. They were under insured so it could have been VERY bad. Luckily my sister came home Late and had not gone to sleep yet when she noticed the fire.
Fires are such a scary thing to me. I really think that is my biggest fear - that a fire will destroy all of my things that I cherish. I know they are just "stuff" but we assign memories and value to them and it still hurts when they are gone.
Take care of yourself and your family during this time :grouphug: for all of you.
I'm glad that there is the bright side of being able to go to the reunion. :goodvibes I hope you see lots of old friends and get to enjoy yourself as much as possible.
Congratulations to your friend! Babies are SO awesome! You gonna come see me when I finally get around to having one of my own? :thumbsup2

Thanks again guys....i couldn't ask for better friends!
I just worry about mom & dad...this is the kind of stress they don't need.
I took about 50 pics of the shed and the tractors....heartbreaking.
I took about 30 pics at the reunion...I might post one of me and my friend Jen...(see Kim...I have a Jen too!!! :thumbsup2 )
The reunion was fun. Did alot of visiting and picture swapping. It's amazing to me....the jerks are still jerks. Everyone was really great with the exception of a few. Some people still think they are king/queen, some still think they are better than others, and some still think the world revolves around them...and I still remind them that they put their pants on one leg at a time!!:teeth: Yes...I got a little snarky once or twice...maybe three times...but trust me...it was justified!!! (i promise!!) I just have no time in my life for phony people...didn't then....don't now.
So...back to the grind.
I'm working on the diet...DH got an ablounger while I was gone...and I'm printing up the couch-to-5k thing now.
I really want to do this right...my way....I'm just really having a hard time focusing.

Kim...lets start next week. DH is in school this week, and I'm doing homework and dinner and laundry. My co-worker R has the ab-lounger too, and we're starting it on Monday....How about running on Sunday?
I have to figure out a menu....I am so easily tempted these days. It really sucks because I want to do it right...but the first chance I get...it's cheeseburgers, sweet tea, cokes and tacos!! What is wrong with me?
Do I need to start a new journal? Do I need to go back to JC? Do I need to have my jaw wired shut? Why can't I just have the liposuction and be done with it? Can I nominate myself for an extreme makeover? Lipo, tummy tuck, face lift, upper arm suction, maybe not breast implants, but just push them up a little bit.....oh...and zoom whitening on the teeth!! :teeth: I'm not asking for much am I?
Ok...dh made tacos tonight...i'm weak....HELP ME!!!!!

How about just planning ahead and eating sensible with one treat meal a week? For me, I can't seem to get back to that super-strict way I originally lost the weight. So how about we make daily changes to improve our eating?? We can do a little challenge for us if you'd like. :thumbsup2

I hear ya on the motivation. BUT, we've done it before, we can do it again! You know what you need to do and you CAN do it. I know you can. You are a very determined lady! First step, water! That helps with the food too - too full from all the darn water to eat anything else. :rotfl2: I have a 64 oz rubbermaid thing that I used to fill each morning and leave on the counter where I see it all the time. I tired to empty that baby before I picked the kids up each afternoon. Then fill it again with 40 oz and empty that by 7 pm.

Goal for tomorrow:

Kim....I don't sing. Not in the car, not in the shower, not while cleaning house, and CERTAINLY not in a bar full of tone-deaf drunks!!
One of the guys did a great job singing Summer of 69...and Garth Brooks-Ain't goin' down til the sun comes up" He was awsome! They did get a group of us up there to sing some Shania Twain song...I lip-sync(ed). :mic:
Also, someone signed up DH and the guys to sing YMCA...it was really funny!
BUT...of course some people had to be dumb@$$es....namely...my boss!! She came up to me 4-5 times calling me a (b)it ch for not bringing my camera!! I told her I didn't know it was a requirement to be able to socialize in public! Finally, after the 4th or 5th time I said....quite loudly....If this were a paying job, I'd have it, but this is my time, to enjoy myself...you want pictures, you should have brought your own f-----g camera!!!:furious: :furious: :furious:

Hey Marie, the food looks ok. You clearly were aware of what you ate and used self control (5 french fries - how do you eat only 5?!) 20 on the ab lounger is better than 0 and your water intake is creeping up too. Today drink that last 4 oz to get to 60 even if it means you are have to do it after you brush your teeth at bedtime. You can do this!!
Here's a thought: Drink lots o water. Has the expected results:rolleyes1 Always have a valid excuse to excuse yourself away from not so nice boss lady:rotfl2:

Oh, I had another idea with the water. Do you like soda or coffee? Make a deal with yourself. For every glass of soda or coffee, you need to drink two glasses of water. I'll do anything for my coffee.

Yeah....we're ok here. South of us got it really bad. Mall wall collapsed...major roof damage....6 tornados touched down....lots of homes damaged....warehouse collapsed...killed 3....it was quite scarey here last night.
I left work last night at 5ish...was driving home and there is this big...BIG BLACK cloud about 3 miles north of me...I call DH and tell him to look in my general direction...he couldn't see it....anyway, it was a frickin' tornado...a BIG on!! Good thing I'm too clueless...otherwise I might have been scared!! Oh...another thing....the lightening was outrageous!!! DH walked outside at one point and a big bolt struck...I actually thought it hit the house...thats how close and loud it was!! DH told me to go grab the camera!! ( I did!!) (no pics though...rain was coming down sideways!)
Ok...so on to today -
B-1/2 orange, 1 sm cin roll
L-3 pieces of general tzos (?) chicken, 1 eggroll
D-nothing...not hungry
Water - almost through 60 oz

Did pretty good yesterday on the water - 84 oz!! I think I actually had a water headache...is that possible? :headache:
Today...not so good - 16 oz. :sad2: BUT...I do have good reason...in my mind anyway. Today was not a good day all the way around. (here comes another long marie rant:sad2: ....stop now if ya don't like snarky)
So, I go into work...say good morning to everyone...LIKE I DO EVERYDAY! Boss is in her office on the phone. Everyone in the office is working quietly. Not discussing the weekend..not chit-chatting...not arguing...nothing but quiet. Boss comes out of her office and says.."It's like a morgue in here" and she said if very snottily. I don't say anything...just grit my teeth. (keep in mind, the little remarks go on everyday...all day...snarky little comments here and there. Not really directed at anyone...just stupid snarky comments.) Then co-worker R says-"yeah, ya'll are a bunch of grumps!" I look up at her and said "Do ya want me to do a F****** cartwheel?" (yeah....it came out before I could stop it) Well boss hit the roof! She chewed my butt, but I held my ground. We had a 30 minute closed door discussion and aired our differences. I asked her why it was ok for her to make comments, but it wasn't ok for anyone else? She said her comment wasn't directed towards me...I said neither was mine. It was a quiet morning, but everything got back to normal after lunch.
So....we'll see how tomorrow goes.
Oh....food today

I am glad you worked things out with your boss. I hate it when there is a ton of tension at work. I go there to get away from my problems.;)
Great job getting in the water. Yes, you can drink too much water. It lowers your sodium level and can lead to headaches and confusion. the general rule is not to drink more than 1/2 your body weight. I personally can drink about an extra 20 oz a day before it affects me. Are you sure your headache wasn't from lack of caffiene?
Take care,

I pretty much hung out and did nothing Saturday morning....then DH and I went to the mall....got myself 2 pair of jeans and a cute zipper/hoodie sweater....(red!!) also ended up getting DD some earrings and a bobbie jack t-shirt and DS some shorts and t-shirts.....I had fun shopping!! Then DH and i went out for dinner and margaritas!!! YUUUMMMMMMM!!! and then home to baskin robbins ice cream roll cake....my fav!!!

Hi Marie! Hows it going? I was visiting your old digs down in Birmingham. I think it was a wise move to go back to memphis. Of course I was only there a couple of days, but I thought it was missing some pizzazz.
Anyway, are you ever gonna post here?
Oh, and btw, I did go see the botanical gardens, that was nice. And there were photographers taking beautiful portraits there, so i thought of you. They were taking pics of a beautiful baby girl and mom. Some brides too.
Anyway. later.
