We are flying from Manchester airport to Majorca in a couple of weeks and because the flight isn't until 11.30pm we were thinking about having a meal before we get there. We are coming up from the midlands so can anyone suggest places to eat about half an hour from the airport. It has to be English food DH is mega fussy!! Thanks

You could spend a couple of hours at the trafford centre, have a look around the shops and have a lovely meal :)

What time does it shut we will be in manchester about 6pm

Monday to Friday the shops shut at 10 and the Orient (Foodhall) closes at midnight.

Saturday the shops close at 8 and the Orient at midnight.

Sunday the shops close at 6 and again the orient at midnight.

And the added bonus is the Disney store :love:

Parking is quite easy though as there is thousands of free parking. Some great places to eat too :)

I love shopping there. We are going on Saturday night to do some holiday shopping and have a meal with Martyns Mum and Dad. Will have to stop at thorntons and buy byself a box of their summer collection chocies :cheer2:

another good thing about the TC foodcourt is that you can all choose where you want to eat, there's the usual mcdonalds, KFC, piza hut, jacket potatoes and subway but theres chinese, indian, and nandos too! Everybody is happy!

If you're looking for a proper sit down meal then there's some nice sit down restaurants upstairs.

And yes, the Disney Store...only last week I bought myself a stitch and a heffalump from there!
