Just saying hello

Hey folks,
Just wanted to say make my first post and say hello :)

My wife and I and our children, together with my parents, are heading for Disney Paris next Wednesday and, as I'm sure you can imagine, we are all beside ourselves with excitement!! :yay:

Thought I would just say what an amazing, fantastic resource this forum is! I stumbled on it by accident today (lol, was trying to buy Crocs shoes of all things :lmao: ) but it has been invaluable already in giving loads of wee bits of info for our trip.

I can tell I am gonna be doing a lot of reading between now and next week! So thanks to the people behind this great forum and everyone who posts on it! :)

Thanks for the welcomes folks - gonna enjoy posting here and reading all the commenets very much. It certainly looks a friendly place!

We are staying at Santa Fe from Wednesday to Sunday :banana: Anyone had experience of it who can give us positive reports? Although as I read someone saying, we will only be using it as a base to sleep and wash before enjoying all the magic Disney can throw at us!! :wizard:

Haven't stayed at the Santa Fe, but I've had a look round. I think the outside is a bit strange - though I'm sure it looks much nicer in the summer than the depths of winter. Thought the inside was nice though - bright and cheerful. And the pictures I've seen of the rooms look the same

Agree it looks a bit wacky from what I have seen so far, lol! But yeah, it seems nice and bright and cheery so I am sure the children will love it! :love:

And I wouldnt dream of making any complaints anyway - this whole trip is a present from my dad - he decided he wanted to mark his retiral by taking the grandchildren (and us, of course!) to Disney, so the whole thing is just gonna be fantastic!! :woohoo:
