OKW/SSR or bank the points

Ok, I'm looking for advice.
Airfare is cheap and I might take a quick trip to WDW.
My main reason to go is to go to Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk.
(Could you tell from my sig. pic that I love the place?! :teeth: )
There are NO availablilities at either BCV/BWV so that means I'll have to cab it home every night from the Rolls to either SSR/OKW. So that means an extra $20 per day for cabs....
Does anybody have an idea on how much a cab is from SSR/OKW to BW?

Should I wait until I can go when I can stay where I want, or should I wing it with one of the other 2 resorts?

How about taking the boat to Studios and catching the bus there back to the resort?

Are you planning to be out past the time the parks are open? If not, then just take a bus from either Epcot or MGM.

Perhaps the inter-resort shuttle would work from either of the resorts... :confused3

Thanks for the replies, but I leave at closing about 2am so all the busses are long gone.

I think I'm going to wait for a time that I can be closer. I'm not partial to taking cabs alone at night. I will if I have to, but I like the idea of being closer :goodvibes

Stay at SSR and go to Pleasure Island. Many, many options for nightlife and you can walk back to the resort!

If you can get a bus to DTD you can there is a walkway to SSR.

I know it's killing you, but I'd just save the money to spend in August. Otherwise you'll have 2 trips to WDW/Jellyrolls with little or no money to spend - how fun is that??? :guilty:
And worrying about getting back at 2am @ $20/night cabfare...

IF you do go, get a studio at OKW. It's closer than SSR and less points.
