my theory on taken (fairly long)

here is my new-developed theory for taken:

I've noticed that a lot of new players, or players who don't wear rare costumes are asked a lot if they are taken. on the other hand, those who wear rare costumes are almost never asked if they are taken. later on, i will walk around vmk and see how true this is. my reasoning for the link between rare and taken is: ppl that are looking for their vmk boy or girl must figure that people with rare costumes and other things have been around on vmk more (true, i guess), and they figure that this means the ppl are older, when in fact, there is no sense to this. people that don't wear rare are asked to be taken because it appears that they can only get what is currently out, so they must be new and younger. now there is some sense to this, because i managed to get a princess dress when i first started vmk, and i went up to someone and asked how to start a quest in tomorrowland and i said something like "i don't know any of this stuff because i'm new" and the other girl says "well, you have a princess dress," leading me to believe she thought that made me older and more experienced.

well, what do you think of my theory?

sounds about right.. i wore my "Troy" outfit while walking along Main Street and six "are you takens" resulted.. i don't know what it is about that outift, but you just wear it and say your troy and the girls flood you.. course always do that to me, ;) but more with that costume

i will be walking around vmk soon in just normal clothing (for a reason toally unrelated to this thread), but i'm afraid of what will happen to me! lol!

I seem to get more people asking that when I am in my "rare" outfits. I like to dress poor a lot and wear the npc pins, but only got asked like once. Then some random person I didn't know said "pirate where's your inferno??" so I went back to my normal look and then I was asked that a billion times. I always love the people that say "ill be your boy if you give me inferno" Such a tempting offer :rolleyes:

Welll.... I asked to get taken when i started ( I said no) People ask me like every day -.- Yesterday someone asked if I was taken I think they wanted my rares.

and me and pirate did this thing last night b4 the event. i dressed in a troy outfit and spikey hair i went to a boy/girl place and 5 girls came right over to me. then i changed into cowboy suit and i was green( trying to be unattractive) and i forgot i still had my rare pins on, so i got asked by some girls that said i want a boy who will get me anything.
