My dh's date is Feb. 9, 2042...a month before me.

Wow.....I only have to 2035...I will only be 70..According to the same chart if I put non-smoker it gives me another 7 years..time to quit smoking again..well I am one that hopes its wrong...I will let you know in 30 years if I am still here! It looks like changing your attitude to optimist from normal makes a bigger differance than smoking....gave me an extra 20 years even with still smoking! Time for an attitude change....I think Disney can help with that!

My BIL is already past his time. I put in his info. He is the most pessimistic person I know, plus he smokes. He is 58 now, so I wanted to see how young he would be.

For me, losing 40 pounds only gets me 5 more years... is it really worth it? LOL. I'll live till 89 at this weight, do I want to live till 94 and not eat my chocolate cake? What a predicament. ;) :lmao:

Losing 60 pounds and changing my attitude to optimistic from normal changes my date to April 8, 2064! HOLY COW! I will be 96 years old. Don't know if I want to live that long. Seriously, I don't.

BTW, I'll live until 2054. I'll be 100 1/2 yrs old! And I'm close to being obese - at least according to the BMI calculator! But my mom lived to be 85, I have an aunt who is still with us at 90 1/2 and one who died at 96! Living long genes prevail.

I think the MODE: options refer to the prediction and not personal outlook on life :blush: You can have a Sadistic prediction (very very short life span), Pessimistic (short), Normal (average) or Optimistic (extended)


I sure know a lot more bitter geezers than than happy go lucky ones - based on my experience you could argue being a pessimist extends you life, not shortens it :dance3:

If I lose 50 lbs, then I'll outlive DVC; if I don't then I'm going 3 years before my DVC runs out. But, since we always borrow points, I figure we've got one less year of points than DVC says we do - so now we're just looking at 2 years without DVC. Maybe I need to be more optimistic!

Mine is Dec 26, 2058 - how do they arrive at these dates??? If they're right, I'd outlive DVC too, and I'd be 94 yo. Not bad. I always tell the boys they'll be wheeling me around Disney in a wheelchair on the day our DVC expires lol.
