My flight changed (again) so I was on the phone with Delta. She gave me our new seat assignments, then I went on-line to see where on the plane they were. On our second leg (Salt Lake to Orlando) we are seated in "preferred seats." Anyone know what these are? We certainly didn't pay very much ($159 RT from San Francisco) so I know its not a money thing. I'm afraid to call Delta and ask because they'll realize their mistake and move us back to "normal" seats where we belong!! :D LOL.
Anyone know? Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I wonder if it's like the "economy plus" seats on United, which have more legroom than standard coach. I hope so, as you will really enjoy the extra inches!! We have gotten those several times on United for a regular coach price.

Delta's preferred seats are typically reserved for elite level frequent fliers. They are regular coach seats. They are just closer to the front of the aircraft. They ususally ionclude bulkhead seats that may or may not have more legroom. Nothing special. Don't get excited!
Have a fun trip!
