Wow, where to start... well with a 10 yrs old...
at MK: I really like haunted mansion it's a classic and your 10yrs old might like the 3 mountains (splash mountain, big thunder railroad mountain and space mountain) as for parades I just love the Spectromagic night time parade...
In MGM: the rock&roller coaster is great and so is Tower of Terror, for shows Beauty and the beast and Fantasmic are my fav.
in Animal kingdom, I did not try the Expedition Everest, but I like Dinosaur and it's tough to be a bug...
In Epcot, just walking around world showcase is a treat... I loved Turtle talk with Crush, very funny.
These are just a few of my must see, but everything in Disney is wonderful... don't forget to watch Wishes (fireworks) :yay: Hope this helps... Have a great time.

There is a guide book that I have seen at Barnes & Noble - WDW for kids. I think Birbaum does it. I would first buy that book and let the 10 year look at it and mark what is important to him/her. Each child is different (some love coasters & others can't stand them). You might be surprised to hear what the 10 year really wants to see or do. My nieces and nephews love the parades. 3 are big coaster fans while 1 hyperventilates when he sees RnR.

I am getting good ideas. Thanks so much. I think I will get my hands on a book at Chapters . My DD is a girly girl so it will be princesses all the way more so than thrills.

Any info on a Aurora Tea Party ? I think I might need to make a reservation?

I will second the Birnbaum for Kids book. It will give her a taste to pick out things she will like to see! I would suggest the dinner at Park Fare..it is with Cinderella and friends. Plus the strawberry soup is devine! I think the MK will be most magical as well as the kidcot activities will be fun/educational for her! Have fun!!!!!

Oops, I did not know she was girl and one that likes princesses, sorry...Go around the world at Epcot and get beautiful pictures with Jasmine in Morocco and Mulan in China, Belle in France... I went to see them in their land it was amazing how there were no one in line and I went in Dec... The backgrounds are beautiful too. And also a must see is Voyage of a little mermaid in Mgm... it's wonderful... I had breakfast twice in the castle and I will never forget it... it's breathtaking up there... (but I did not go since they change the prices that included the picture) Hope that is a little more what you were looking for. :)
