View Full Version : CJ, Our best friend. Updated Crisis News.Info on accident and fund

June 28th: Cameron Mercier my best friend. Was on his way on his bike to the neighberhood YMCA. He was not wearing a helmet but a Giants hat. He turned a corner and Didn't see a whit cadillac coming around. He drifted out 2 far into the road and flipped onto the hood and smashed his skull into the windshield. He was flown to the Children's Hospital in Boston. He had 13 skull fractures and was operated on. His brain was damaged in the incident and was put into a coma. He was in critical condition.


Now CJ was moved to Spaulding Rehabilitaton Hospital last week and is now improving. He can Speak very slowly but may be paraylized on his right side. He has all his memories and now is considered Fair Condition. He is still healing.

EDIT:As of now they believe CJ will never be able to speak again and be in a wheel chair the rest of his life.

thanks everyone i got home yesterday and found out about my friend.... hes still critical and in the hospital but he is recovering... i never thought things could happen to my best friend. if you want me to tell what happened i can

CJ is doing great I went to see him yesterday. He can move his right arm freely and make facial expressions but still no speaking. The part of his skull they had to take out because of his brain swelling is now in his chest and they are waiting until the swelling stops so they can put it back on. He is doing great and I'm glad i saw him
